@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Im gonna assume you are too low IQ to get the answer yourself but maybe ur just rhethorically asking. Anyway : because canada minimum wage cost more. It very easy to understand. Its also why LIMA temporary works, importing poor to work minimum wage instead of raising salary

@CognizantBeing @Rogers I will admit I received good service today, but it took over an hour of my time. The wait time to speak with someone was only 5mins. It was the amount of times I was put on hold while she “was checking” things. They must improve their service levels for call time as well as bring back more Canadian call centres. I haven’t even touched on privacy issues. @Rogers

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers I just did the same with Telus they operate out of El Salvador and the Philippines. The service is fast and they are well trained. One guy had chickens in the background, but i wish they were operating in Canada.

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Our call centres have been managed for decades this way. It was always a long hold on the phone for technical support. All the best on hold. It can be frustrating but help awaits...

@LoveMy7Wood @Rogers @BlueJays Wow! That is a terrible ROI. You would have been fired already Norm.

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers CRTC is a total "Old Boys' Club," controlled by ex-telecom industry executives. They are there to help their buddies and their stock portfolios, not consumers. That is why Canadians pay 3-4x more for cell phone and Internet service than consumers in the US.

  • Airwave_1_
    Wake Turbulence (@Airwave_1_) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers They did, they used to be 100% Canadian support and marketed it that way. They just started offloading them in the last couple years. Sorry to say you missed the boat. It’s headed the other way now.

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers When I call Telus it's always some third world garbage ******** like India or the Phillipines.

    Joey Prefontaine (@northshorejoey) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers My recent call had this woman who didn't speak English, couldn't enunciate her words and mumbled. When you take Jobs away from Canadians in Canada and move your call center to countries that pay less to save money will never have customer service.
