  • dukie2x dukie dwa razy (@dukie2x) reported from Beamsville, Ontario

@Rogers should thank me for being loyal customer for last 10 years. Yet they wouldn’t offer me same (lower) plan as new customers get #notfair #bs #timetoswitch #NoThanks

  • TheDiggyShow Andrew Dignum (@TheDiggyShow) reported from St. Catharines, Ontario

@Bell followed up with your technical team and it appears nothing was done. Error code 1009p/3 seems to be a mystery and I'm not the only one who has it... @680NEWS should maybe investigate this as I may choose @Rogers if the app doesn't work...

  • CrashEdwards Nick E don’t lose that number (@CrashEdwards) reported from St. Catharines, Ontario

Goodbye @Bell after almost 20 years of extremely average service I am glad to switched over to @Rogers taking my number and my business elsewhere! Buh-bye.

  • UntilTheNextTee Alexander Toth - untilthenexttee.blog (@UntilTheNextTee) reported from Thorold South, Ontario

@YoungerGolf @Golfguy3601 @GolfChannel @Rogers @nbc Well Rick, if it came down to it, there's always streaming.

  • fireman607 MEDIA607 (@fireman607) reported from St. Catharines, Ontario

    @jods10503 @Rogers @Bell You’re lucky it was only 2 hours. It’s usually longer and it’s getting bad.

  • BigHig19 K Higgs (@BigHig19) reported from St. Catharines, Ontario

@Rogers worst customer service on online chat. Time to switch to @Bell_Support

  • SteGriff81 Steven Griffiths (@SteGriff81) reported from Lincoln, Ontario

Omg @Rogers talk about a negative customer experience. 3 calls where each employee had no idea what they were doing and definitely not thinking while do ing their job!! #brainwashed #nodeal #customeris2nd

  • SylviaBolle Sylvia Bolle (@SylviaBolle) reported from Thorold South, Ontario

@RogersHelps please please please do whatever you need to do to get your services in area code L2V 4R6. It’s painful to have to rough it with the service provider here. After having your Ignite TV, there’s just no comparison.

    First World problems: @Rogers

  • MSigrun00 mmmaura (@MSigrun00) reported

@AmyLynne_73 @RogersHelps I'm pretty sure they've mostly restored mobile services. Seems like home internet is still down for most people.

  • andywalker Andy Walker (@andywalker) reported

Why scenario caused the @Rogers outage: 1) Hardware failure (unlikely, easy to fix) 2) Failed network server software update causing cascading failure (likely) 3) Cyber attack. (Nope, it would have been touted by Rogers execs) 4) Profit over product quality. (Yeah that's a given)

  • Zach_Fleisher Zach Fleisher (@Zach_Fleisher) reported

.@RogersHelps employee: should we maybe wait for a few days to send some bills? Maybe throw in a bill credit? Corporate: nah, just bill em. What's the worst that could happen? @TELUSsupport if you've got a good deal I'm ready to switch.

  • mrfumblethumbs Brian Greiner (@mrfumblethumbs) reported

@jsopercook @Rogers The problem is too many so-called competitors want to piggyback on top of network built by Bell and Rogers. We need competitive physical networks, designed to be robust and failure-tolerant. Instead we have infrastructure built to maximize profits with minimal quality and service

  • Snerlz Jason Bronsther (@Snerlz) reported

@RogersHelps @AboutRogers ….sent from Bell network. Guaranteed the executive and “higher uppers” at Rogers never lost internet or phone service.

  • bhlevca Bogdan Hlevca (@bhlevca) reported

@thevivafrei @Rogers I disagree. Even though outage was not directly caused by lack of competition, the prices and the state of communication in Canada suffers from the lack of it. More choice would have led to fewer people being affected. Competition would lower the prices and increase the quality.

  • lummer66 Andrew Lamb (@lummer66) reported

@andreamcrae @Rogers hey i'm not a customer and I was effected by the loss of their service so it ought to go further.

  • GeethaDaryl Geetha (@GeethaDaryl) reported

@RogersHelps My next door neighbor has internet, we still haven’t got it back. Sucks! We did unplug waited and plugged it back nothing has changed.

  • SteveUrszenyi Steve Urszenyi (Ur-SAY-nee) (@SteveUrszenyi) reported

@linwood_barclay @Rogers Wow. We switched from Rogers to Bell for all things at home (incl. phone), and my cell service is Telus. I mean, there but by the Grace of God, and all that. 24 hours. Ew.
