hear you. near Ottawa overall was back Sunday afternoon, but has had moments w internet/cable glitchy and such. For all the trouble i thought they should offer at least half off a month with like a month free of crave or 1 month free, thoughts @RogersHelps ?? or ppl might leave

  • therealjoncogan Jon Cogan (@therealjoncogan) reported

@RogersHelps The fact you needed customers to inform you that 2 days’ credit was woefully inadequate is absurd. Even 5 days is insulting. We’re not paying by the day. We pay for the assuredness that it’s a reliable ongoing service. By your standard I’ll just withhold pmt for days I’m offline.

Oh look another 9 paragraph email from @Rogers where they outline no actionable plan to prevent mass network outages or identify the root cause of said outage. But don't worry, they know what they did was unacceptable. Just like the rest of us Canadians.

  • DaleV73 Dale (@DaleV73) reported

Been seeing a bunch of @LedcorGroup vehicles on behalf of @Rogers in the area (before the outage as well.) No notification of construction in our area yet they're there. What is this about? Perhaps Fibre Optic in our area? @RogersHelps

@Bob_Allan1 @AboutRogers @Rogers I had Rogers Legacy, went to Ignite and back to Legacy in 15 days. Having Bell home Phone on their legacy LAN allows you phone to work even in an electrical outage.👍 The legacy doesn't allow home phone to work in an outage at all. WIFI runs the home phone on Ignite. 👎

@Rogers a five day credit which amounts to “minuscule” is a slap in the face to your customers considering the high cost of your services and your quarterly profit margins. Suck it up and put your money where your mouth is re: “Canada’s most reliable network”

@Rogers my biggest concern cause my health reasons if there no access to another service or land line i need 911 im screwed.

  • ashtoom Thomas Rodgers (@ashtoom) reported

@Rogers @RogersHelps how's the compensation going to work? I just got my bill for August with no adjustments to it. I have two phones and internet. The phones without service for 2 days and internet for more. Am I getting a credit for each service or just a blanket credit?

@RogersHelps Sorry, not good enough. Your engineers decided to deploy untested patches on your infrastructure. This is not just stupid, it's irresponsible. The impact it had on me was much more than the peanuts you're planning to throw my way as comp. That class action looks good now.
