  • Zharphyn
Brad Thiessen (@Zharphyn) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Your CSR Robert V45Y, is providing a fairly disappointing customer experience. I feel like I am being lied to, and he is lowering my opinion of your company’s ability to provide me the service that I want.

  • ChrisCScott
Christopher Scott (@ChrisCScott) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@Brian_Bancroft @ShawInfo Shaw is pretty solid on customer service. We’re pretty spoiled out here on the west coast.

  • DekeyPetey40
Rosario (@DekeyPetey40) reported from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia

@IanSeggie @Shawhelp I have the same package and no issues weird

  • pambh65
Anne (@pambh65) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@Shawhelp why do you close the phonelines so early? It used to be 24/7 , now u can't get help to save your life and chat feature will bounce you out several times. I'm about to switch, its so frustrating!

  • ManpreetSuhi
Manpreet Suhi (@ManpreetSuhi) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@Shawhelp do you have any update on the outage in Burnaby Deer Lake Area?

  • RitchWorld
RitchWorld (@RitchWorld) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Actually there is no point. You can train your support to recognize, appreciate and value long terms customers. I was actually surprised how greedy Shaw is. The big kicker was charging my in laws more money for internet 15 than I pay for my 300 internet.

  • AliceTheAlice1
Alice, The Alice (@AliceTheAlice1) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@ShawInfo There's a reason behind the generic design of a thin rectangle in electronics. It's to allow the heat to spread and disappait. This unit is not designed as such so no wonder it sucks at regulating it's internal temperature.

  • jooooodooolp
macaroni in a pot (@jooooodooolp) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Just like that. My home internet is down and i was just about to finish my movie. Thanks @ShawInfo

  • vicvirk
Vic (@vicvirk) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

@ShawInfo your company provides some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered from any company in any service sector. 3 weeks now and my wi-fi issues can't be fixed. Impossible to speak to anyone on the phone or get the right person to come fix the problem.

  • sheaC_3
shea (@sheaC_3) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

I have had by far the worst customer service experience w: @ShawInfo, I would never recommend.

  • ConradAu
Conrad Au (@ConradAu) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia

@Shawhelp I was told that service would delay my cancellation and be charged for the service up until the equipment was received.

  • NinersNorth
Niners North (Vancouver, BC) (@NinersNorth) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia

Tune in on the multi billion dollar @Shawhelp cable network and watch the biggest sports league in North America, and two of it biggest storied franchises as they kick off their season. Available only in ultra low definition. #HDhelp

  • stephenfung
Stephen Fung (@stephenfung) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia

@angelastamour @TELUSsupport @Shawhelp Looks like it's being handled. They are escalating because it seems like quite the technical issue. Fun times! 🤓

  • marianodss
Mariano D (@marianodss) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@Shawhelp I’m having an issue with sound. It drops off for a second or 2 intermittently. Does not occur when watching streaming services as I type this it has happened twice in 30 seconds. Any idea? Yes just happened 2 more times. :(

  • JenniferKingsb6
Jennifer Kingsbury (@JenniferKingsb6) reported from Port Moody, British Columbia

    @Shawhelp Please fix it soon.

  • andrewcook
Andrew Cook (@andrewcook) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@Shawhelp why would you cut my internet off after sending me your shaw mobile sim cards? You cut all my service so I have to sign up to tether? I cannot understand why you would do this. A tech now can't come to fix for 7 days. 7!

  • falskow
Chris Falskow (@falskow) reported from Delta, British Columbia

The worst internet service provider in the Lower Mainland is @Eastlink! I would so love to get @ShawInfo but they are not in our area. Yet. #InternetConnection #Fail

  • vicvirk
Vic (@vicvirk) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

@wingsnation @ShawInfo We just moved into a new neighbourhood, #Telus never ran service into it so we are stuck with using Shaw... Today I used Shaw's call back service, they called back in 20 mins, recording said I was in "Position 1" in the queue and it still took 1 hr 15 min to speak with someone.

  • fmengo
Fabricio Mengo (@fmengo) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

@Shawhelp I’m trying to move my service and I don’t have answer from you. I booked to move for Dec 23, and still waiting. I talked to 7 different agents and no answer. Your service sucks.

  • ScuderiaF1Pod
Scuderia F1 Podcast (@ScuderiaF1Pod) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Hi Kyle - I keep insisting on escalating this but nobody at Shaw will help with this. 1.5 weeks of outage is unacceptable (especially since I know specifically what the issue is and have explained it multiple times). Please slide me a DM so I can pass on my personal contact.

Shaw Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MaryPChipman
    Ugabug (@MaryPChipman) reported

@Shawhelp The new cable-less TV boxes are terrible: everytime the WiFi is interrupted by less than a nanosecond, it crashes. I end up watching on apps instead. So-called 'progress' is actually worse than the tech before it.

  • aches63
    Alan (@aches63) reported

@Shawhelp Hi, our cable has been offline all day. Get a "No Content" message window. We hear others have the same issue here in west Calgary. Have done the unplug/wait 30 seconds/plug back in with no resolution. A tech reset the box too. Is there something going on??

  • AeliusYar
    Nova (@AeliusYar) reported

@Shawhelp is there an internet outage in douglasedale Calgary right now?

  • masonstcc
    Jonathan Mason (@masonstcc) reported

@shaw @shawhelp So literally nothing is working properly. Service is terrible at best. Not sure this post will even go thru. I pay lots per month and need way better service.

  • BlackBlazeE
    Release the files (@BlackBlazeE) reported

Due to issues with @ShawInfo 's internet service, today's raid on the DOJ stream will be canceled unless something drastically changes. We here at the Black Blaze Collective assume that either the @TheJusticeDept is once again trying to stop us, or that Rogers/Shaw also defends pedos. The most likely case is sheer incompetence given what we know about the structure within Rogers/Shaw, but our narrative sounds better. Indoctrination broadcasts will resume ASAP.

  • LindsayWiebeRD
    Lindsay I.R Wiebe (@LindsayWiebeRD) reported

Well, it’s Sunday afternoon and @Rogers and @Shawhelp never came through with a better plan, so it appears that my services will be discontinued tomorrow after making some calls to Costco’s internet, Teck savvy, Bell & Telus. If anyone has any suggestions on providers, send em.

  • HeldyCarvalho
    Heldy (@HeldyCarvalho) reported

@Shawhelp Thanks. I have been trying to use the chat since 9AM. The auto log out feature every 10 minutes is brutal when you have to hold for support for at least hours. The only reason I stayed with Shaw is because you have had better support than Telus, historically.

  • Valomir
    Tyler ❄☕☃ (@Valomir) reported

@Shawhelp hey pals, I my internet has ceased working a couple times tonight and I'm wondering if there is an outage near the community of Sunalta in Calgary. The modem light is solid white but neither my wifi or Ethernet produce internet. I have power cycled the modem.

  • Bogey_Putt
    Lynelle (@Bogey_Putt) reported

@Shawhelp is there an outage in North Burnaby/Capitol Hill area? Internet, TV down as of about 9:15am and 5G is very weak signal only on cell? Status?

  • LindsayWiebeRD
    Lindsay I.R Wiebe (@LindsayWiebeRD) reported

@Shawhelp It shouldn’t be a persistent problem to have wifi outages everyday. It’s becoming too much of a problem when I’m covering the cost of a service you provide for over $100 a month.
