Alice, The Alice (@AliceTheAlice1) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@ShawInfo There's a reason behind the generic design of a thin rectangle in electronics. It's to allow the heat to spread and disappait. This unit is not designed as such so no wonder it sucks at regulating it's internal temperature.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@RallyMD @Shawhelp I was mid presentation and had a very busy day. This is not funny. This is income loss and business loss and absolutely unacceptable to take down a whole area unannounced. There is no joke here. This is a massive concern for me and my neighbours.
-
Chris Falskow (@falskow) reported from Delta, British Columbia@Eastlink @EastlinkSupport Hey @Shawhelp I hope you’re paying attention here. We could really use your service in North Delta!

-
Scuderia F1 Podcast (@ScuderiaF1Pod) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia@Shawhelp Hi Kyle - I keep insisting on escalating this but nobody at Shaw will help with this. 1.5 weeks of outage is unacceptable (especially since I know specifically what the issue is and have explained it multiple times). Please slide me a DM so I can pass on my personal contact.
-
Scuderia F1 Podcast (@ScuderiaF1Pod) reported from Coquitlam, British ColumbiaHi folks - alas, there will be no podcast today. 😭😭😭😭😭 @MarkinVancity’s @ShawInfo internet connection has been down for a week and he’s already burned through 200gb using his Mobile hotspot. -
Drimint (@RisenRealm) reported@Shawhelp is there an internet outage in Winnipeg. North Kildonan region? Myself and Shaw using neighbors are all having issues this morning. Cant access the outage map since it's stuck on British Columbia for some reason and your apps won't log in. Not that they ever work anyway

-
Ugabug (@MaryPChipman) reported@Shawhelp The new cable-less TV boxes are terrible: everytime the WiFi is interrupted by less than a nanosecond, it crashes. I end up watching on apps instead. So-called 'progress' is actually worse than the tech before it.
-
Dave (@Danrek77) reported@Shawhelp No timeline, no email confirmation, and I’m not a new customer. I’m being billed for 2 gigabit now, without the hardware for it. I am hesitant to send this beat up box back without knowing I will be getting hardware to actually use the service
