-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@RallyMD @Shawhelp I was mid presentation and had a very busy day. This is not funny. This is income loss and business loss and absolutely unacceptable to take down a whole area unannounced. There is no joke here. This is a massive concern for me and my neighbours.
-
mike blackmon (@MikeyBlackmon) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaWow so after 3.5 hours trying to help my parents switch to @ShawInfo and having a tech come out to their house, but they didn’t, and talking to the loyalty team @Shawhelp, they will be going back to Telus, haven’t seen service like this ever, and time for me to switch as well 👎

-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaI hope @ShawInfo plans to pay for this day of lost work and explain to my staff why payroll is delayed because this is some insane bullshit. Also, when you have a recorded message about an outage, your website shouldn’t say “good news! No outages!”
-
RitchWorld (@RitchWorld) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia@Shawhelp Actually there is no point. You can train your support to recognize, appreciate and value long terms customers. I was actually surprised how greedy Shaw is. The big kicker was charging my in laws more money for internet 15 than I pay for my 300 internet.
-
Vic (@vicvirk) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia@ShawInfo your company provides some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered from any company in any service sector. 3 weeks now and my wi-fi issues can't be fixed. Impossible to speak to anyone on the phone or get the right person to come fix the problem.
-
Chris Falskow (@falskow) reported from Delta, British Columbia@Eastlink @EastlinkSupport Hey @Shawhelp I hope you’re paying attention here. We could really use your service in North Delta!

-
Fabricio Mengo (@fmengo) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia@ShawInfo moving your service is an impossible mission. I had to talk to 8 different agents, and finally they gave me another appointment. 1 month to move the services. #wfh and #studingfromhome with you is almost impossible. Your service is really bad.
-
Gatthew Mriffeth (@mattgriffeth) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia@LexLee91 @Shawhelp Seconding this. Same lack of service from my house in new west as well
-
Stephen Fung (@stephenfung) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia@angelastamour @TELUSsupport @Shawhelp Looks like it's being handled. They are escalating because it seems like quite the technical issue. Fun times! 🤓
-
Stephen Fung (@stephenfung) reported from Coquitlam, British ColumbiaHey @TELUSsupport . Just got #PureFibre. My @Shawhelp modem is at the curb. One problem. I can see another account in my profile. I can stop their WiFi & reboot their modem. Fun. Can someone reach out? Tried calling now but apparently not 9PM close as stated. Thx.
-
AdrianC (@Vancity_AC) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia.@Shawhelp I’ve spent over 3hrs, transferred between 5 agents on chat. Called, transferred, forwarded to FREEDOM mobile (WTF?) for activation, re-dialed Shaw 5-6 times. ALL THIS TO ACTIVATE A NEW SIM. Your warehouse sent cars to wrong address.
-
Rosario (@DekeyPetey40) reported from Port Coquitlam, British ColumbiaHey @Shawhelp is internet down in poco?
-
RAVI PATEL (@ravikanji) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia@Shawhelp worst telephone support. You guys take more than an hour to talk. Don’t pretend you are overbusy.
-
Dominic Therrien (@dotherrien) reported from Coquitlam, British ColumbiaI travel around the world for professional reasons and it pains me to say that the Lower Mainland of BC has one of the worst internet networks I’ve used (it’s a little better than Nigeria). Blind spots, slooooow connection, interruptions, expensive. @Shawhelp #competitionneeded
-
Johnson (@Schmidt_show) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia@Shawhelp My wifi is off sending this tweet because it is slow. I’m asking telus how there optik cable install is going because all we can get for tv and Internet is Shaw. We’ve had nothing but troubles w/ wifi, cable and billing.
-
Rosario (@DekeyPetey40) reported from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia@IanSeggie @Shawhelp I have 3 apple devices and have Shaw and no problems
-
Brad Thiessen (@Zharphyn) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia@Shawhelp Your CSR Robert V45Y, is providing a fairly disappointing customer experience. I feel like I am being lied to, and he is lowering my opinion of your company’s ability to provide me the service that I want.
Shaw Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
bc_2027 (@bc_2025_vision) reported@Shawhelp We really need wait times & callback from Rogers with Shaw support. We had this for > 10 years before it was stopped. Now TELUS has these services and Rogers with Shaw does not. @Rogers Customer service should not be a hardship on hold … no clue whether we will wait hours😟
-
Alex (@GoBills2112) reported@Shawhelp I already called in! As I said, I’ve been on hold for a long time and finally got through. Someone is coming to fix tomorrow evening but it’s not quick enough. Please send help faster. I was told it’s an isolated incident so there should be resources to send techs faster!
-
Vanessa (@Noosiekins) reported@Shawhelp It's still down. I was told shawmail doesn't work when I am out of Canada and am overseas according to your tech support!
-
Ravi Poojara (@RaviPoojara_rp) reported@Rogers and @ShawInfo are most unethical companies. When I’m moving out to another province where they are not able to provide fiber internet service, they are asking for early contact break fine. I’m ready to continue with the contract, it is their inability to provide the
-
Lindsay I.R Wiebe (@LindsayWiebeRD) reported@Shawhelp - I pay internet just to have it cut out for close to an hour every day when I come home from work. If this continues, I’m going to ask for a discounted rate, or change providers to either @Bell or @TELUS. $110 dollars for this kind of service is uncalled for.
-
Lindsay I.R Wiebe (@LindsayWiebeRD) reported@Shawhelp It shouldn’t be a persistent problem to have wifi outages everyday. It’s becoming too much of a problem when I’m covering the cost of a service you provide for over $100 a month.
-
Lindsay I.R Wiebe (@LindsayWiebeRD) reported@Shawhelp I’ve been trying for a while for a solution, but it looks like we will end up changing providers next month, as we have not found a solution and I’m not the only one who has this issue with the X series modems.
-
'Nucknation (@surrey1111) reported@Shawhelp Thanks for asking. My wifi is good. But i have barely got 1 line on network (vertical), and sometimes in the other end of my house, i can’t download or upload and call drops. I was hoping to change something there to make it better.
-
Marty Chan (@Marty_Chan) reported@Shawhelp Is there an outage in Edmonton? I am in Forest Heights and my internet is out. I rebooted the router twice. No luck.
