@Shawhelp Thanks Darren. I called back and we got the internet fixed. I thought it might be a simple issue and it turned out it was! No need for a tech anymore. Your service centre is sending out new cables and a new splitter. I appreciate your message and service.

A technician from @TELUSsupport was scheduled to help with our internet issue and in the message about it a $150 FEE APPLIES IF THEY DONT FIND AN ISSUE. That's complete BS that it's a) not mentioned on the phone and b) casually plopped in a text. Hey @ShawInfo want my business?

@shawhelp Although we love the BlueCurve solution for TV, some of our internet-connected devices display frequent "your internet connection was restored" messages. Furthermore, for two years, Zoom sessions have had repeated dropouts. We think packet loss is occurring. What gives?

If the @Rogers / @ShawInfo merger is allowed to proceed, we will be contacting @ShawHELP and advising them we have NO contract with #Rogers and will be terminating our agreements WITH PREJUDICE. There is a REASON we chose to NOT be a Rogers customer and those reasons remain!
