@Shawhelp The system did its own self reboot and came back on so at the moment it is working again. So it was down for a couple hours.

@Shawhelp @LouisPhilSluggr He lives in south east Edmonton, you know the only place that has an outage on your shitty website right now. Thanks for that descriptive update 3 hours ago. “There’s a problem”. Yeah no ****, probably why there’s 25+ people bitching to you on Twitter

5 hours now since the @shawinfo @Shawhelp outage and still no official explanation or ETA for restoring vital services for people. They need a whole new comms department at this rate.

@Shawhelp How about updating the outage page. An hour has passed and all it reads is “problem detected”. Every time I’ve seen an outage page it shows no info and then all of sudden it reads problem solved. What a terrible system to keep customers updated with this many working from home

@Shawhelp Almost 3 hours since the last update. Why are you leaving customers in the dark? Why isn't shaw providing hourly updates? Does shaw even know what the issue is?

Especially in the age of covid, internet is a required utility. That @Shawhelp hasn’t given any information or any ETA on a fix 2 hours after a problem (and it’s actually 2.5 hours since my internet went out) is very troubling. It’s definitely bad customer service.
