@keithbaldrey Good for @Telus to remedy the issue with the call centres and finding ppl to man the phones. Just curious why Telus can’t respond to actual customer concerns that quickly & remedy issues that arise. Funny how that works.

  • kristygilljames
Kristy J. (@kristygilljames) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia

MST time? 7:48 in YVR-8:48 MST? @TELUSsupport your website say’s 9pm MST voicemail said you’re closed. (Called earlier &got estimated 90min wait time) However... I may be wrong with the times? Being charged for ADT and @telus SmartHome-need help sorting out please!

  • dave_pasin

@kboyd05 Good luck. Took 1.5 hrs to deal with @TELUS yesterday to deal with an over billing issue. On any given day, Telus is possibly the worst company in Canada to deal with. Bureaucratic, unresponsive, inept, and that’s just the start.

Can you imagine booking an appointment with a customer for an essential service and not showing up? And not calling to reschedule? That’s what @TELUS @TELUSsupport did with me today. #badcustomerservice

  • robmackaydunn
Rob MacKay-Dunn 🇨🇦 (@robmackaydunn) reported from Westmount, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport @WestVanDistrict As a longtime TELUS mobility x2, home security, Internet 50 x2 & Optik TV customer, I think it’s a fair question to ask why #PureFibre isn’t offered to @WestVanDistrict? After 4+ years of “coming soon”, I’m politely asking for a straightforward answer. Thank you

  • Maria_here
HODLouly (@Maria_here) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@theJagmeetSingh You mean Telus has workers still? Every time I call there I’ve never waited less than 45 minutes on hold

  • jamneria

@FidoSolutions We're okay thanks, we've gone to @TELUS after that horrible experience with you guys.

  • bh_

Rogers, Telus, Bell was too many. I think we should all just stop doing business with Bell. They’re already weakened. If we can get Rogers, Telus, Bell down to 2 then that just seems like a better amount to me.

  • K_Somaratne

@sammymarie Also looking to switch! I was with Telus and my bill went from $65 to $145 after the two yr contract ended. I called them and maanged to get it down to $108 but going to call again and see if I can get it down lower

  • FriesenPatty

@TELUSsupport I just got off the phone with one of your techs and he informed he couldn’t help me install my telus email in my new IMac desktop. I keep getting error messages with my telus account but it’s an Apple problem? How am I supposed to get my email then??

God speed the technician that comes back to deal with these @TELUS network issues because we have pages and pages of notes and screenshots and videos where we go from our 60 mbps to 0 until we reboot the system they fixed Thursday. I have to find somewhere to work tomorrow.

  • nbrosef
Nicky Bullets (@nbrosef) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@BuddJacket @BigNasty6oh4 @BigNasty6oh4 This. You just play them off each other and watch them beg for your service like the corporate bloodsuckers they are. Telus all day for TV never had complaints about their internet and I okay poker online. Just watch the upselling. Bloodsuckers all of them so.

  • MsYouDoYou
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

It’s a refreshing change from weeks of condescending ineptitude from Telus technicians to have a Shaw person here who seems to know what a network cable is.

  • SamGorC
SGC Dream a little. Dream a lot. (@SamGorC) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

I love how Telus wears "we have the best customer service" on its sleeve and it still billed me AFTER I CUT MY SERVICE. I hate your service even more without even using it. That's a new low for a company in my books.

  • spawnsteryvr
Steven 🇨🇦 ✡️ (@spawnsteryvr) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Why can’t I access my account @TELUSsupport? Broken links, can’t view/manage my account - this is not how you treat customers @TELUS.

  • spawnsteryvr

Epic fail today @TELUSsupport @TELUS. Not only did my appointment for today get bungled but now your agents can’t even schedule a new one. This is horrible customer service. A lesson in how not to handle customers.

The full Maxim Group interview with $AMPG CEO Fawad Maqbool. 28 minutes, unedited. $AMZN, $GOOG, SpaceX and Telus mentioned. I've been quoting pieces whole day. Here's the entire source. Summary below for the time-poor. But this one earns the full watch. THE HEADLINE. The "Tier-1 North American MNO" from every PR finally gets a name. The analyst asks: with Telus? The CEO: "Yes, absolutely. We're a direct supplier to them". No reseller in between. And Telus now comes to AMPG for NEW product development. More configurations. "Which we'll be announcing". THE NUMBERS. Roughly HALF the $40M LOI equipment already delivered. Orders received now EXCEED the original LOI by $5-7 million. Shipping every day. Most LOIs in telecom die quietly. This one got outgrown by its own customer. THE SECOND LOI. $78M, multi-year, via a partner for a Southeast Asian MNO. Slow by design: proof of concept, licensing. But the radios built for it are a worldwide product. Every same-band country is the expansion map. THE PHASE SHIFT. LOIs were for when they were new and unproven. Now certified, validated, running in the field: "We're going straight to PO stage." From these MNOs and NEWER MNOs. The audition era is over. The contract era is the test. THE QUANTUM NAMES. Test units delivered to IBM and Google. And then, zero hype from the CEO himself: quantum hasn't hit production mode. Early stage. Optionality, honestly labeled by the man selling it. THE SATCOM LIST. Asked where AMPG sits in satellite: "companies like Viasat, Amazon, CPI, all those guys are our customers." Ground stations. LEOs launching, MEOs launching, and on high-speed Ku and Ka terminals: "we're in the thick of that". THE NEW LANE. Network-in-the-Box: portable 5G in a backpack, on a Navy ship, on a cell-on-wheels. Product ready, pre-revenue, DoW interest flowing through the university channel: Northeastern, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech. THE CANDOR. Shipments took a war-logistics hit earlier this year. Back on track, per the CEO. Guidance stays $50M, back-half loaded. H1 won't show the wave. That's the design. THE CLOSER. "The PRs are not fluff. They're actual milestones". Five-year plan: executed. Revenue stage: underway. "Next stage is profitability". 28 minutes. A Tier-1 named. Two tech giants named. Order math that beat the paper. A phase shift declared. Press play. Then decide for yourself. Not financial advice. I'm long $AMPG. DYOR. 📡

@RoneelkRo In my area it’s Telus and they don’t give a single **** about upgrading us beyond 2010 era internet so my only choice is Elon, which is a surprisingly good service as much as it pains me.

Oh, dear. Is there a massive internet outage in Canada? Cogeco, Bell, Rogers, Telus, Teksavvy and more are reporting problems. Check Downdetector. Everything seems to have started around 2pm EDT:

@TELUS @TELUSsupport is asking for a driver's license and pin that were set up in the 90's before they'll cancel service and say there's no way around it, wtaf? All this for a client moved overseas and not able to use the service! They'll take money for no service!

@canmericanized @Rogers @CRTCeng try Bell, then Telus etc. They are relentless. If anyone ever calls claiming to be a company (utilities, bank etc), never call back the number they give you. Look at your bill or card & call that number. 2/2

@olanshiley_211 @TELUS @TELUSsupport And finding a customer service agent you can understand is almost impossible, I called so many times and there is such a language barrier I needed to turn on google translate......and interference sounds like they are taking calls from home or another country....

AmpliTech Group $AMPG (only ~$178 million market cap): - Confirmed to be supplying $AMZN and $VSAT for SATCOM equipment - Confirmed to be supplying cryogenic LNAs to $IBM and $GOOG for their quantum computing R&D - Has $NVDA as a customer for the AI-RAN project, with NVIDIA's AI Aerial software using AmpliTech's proprietary 64T64R Massive MIMO radio units - Has TELUS as their customer, who has already exceeded the LOI of $40 million by $5-7 million according to the CEO - Is projected to generate $50 million revenue in 2026 as per management's guidance - Gross margin of 48% in Q1 and expected to improve further in the coming years - 25-30% CAGR in the upcoming 5 years, possibly higher than 30% Truly a gem.
