@hellofisher I’ve had really good experience with the speeds and reliability of TELUS in my building (which is newer). Customer support is mediocre but has helped when I’ve needed them.

@CraveCanada hello, my crave apps on smart tv and iPad are not letting me access any shows, and it says to contact service provider and that I’m not subscribed. I am subscribed and was literally watching a show yesterday. It also still working on my Telus on demand.

@FEEZYDoesIT Struggles, it now “slows” down my data and doesn’t cut it off But let’s be honest this data costs TELUS nothing. Verizon has unlimited for cheaper than my 90$ 10 gigs cost... I’d add a gif but i don’t have the 10 min it will take to load @TELUS

@MJohnso51022309 @Novusnow Two major outages in a month sounds real bad. Two major outages in five years sounds a lot better. If you think TELUS or Shaw are going to be more reliable though, I’m not sure you’ll find that’s the case.

@stuhunter Sounds awful!! Hope it works out! Once, someone walked into Telus & bought 2 new phones + plans on my account Telus store even had them on camera but gave me a really hard time about my dispute. I suspected it was maybe store employee or friend. #frustrating

@telusmobility Telus is currently bidding on a RFP for my company’s mobile contract for 220 line which I oversee. I’m not impressed by your teams customer service. I would of preferred “Our call centre made a mistake by telling you to come here, but let us ship it for you”.

@mcmillan Yeah. 300 is fine. I'm not *really* complaining. But I do have gigabit, with wired I get over 900 down. But because Shaw my up is only 125 😒 Telus hasn't brought fibre to my neighborhood though, so my other option is something ridiculous like 75mbit down DSL.

@snarfmason I grabbed the Telus boosters which is their budget mesh. Helped a bit, but I was having some issues with my client adapter, so figured I'd go for the drop since it was only ~$200 to install. I would have been happy with consistent 300! Mine was sometimes 50 with random dc's.

@jfmezei No one cablecos but powercos should have priority to make a utility grade #smartgrid network & lease the ISP provision to the cableco. Bell & Telus should be forced to stick to backhaul, industrial and towers, and simply banned from home service when powerco can host any ISP.

@worldwise001 @seldo Canadian phone companies allow credit cards (at least Bell, Telus, Koodo, Public) but yeah, I've never been able to pay our water or electricity with credit card. As you say, those are bank account only.
