@TELUSsupport 82 year old mom has relied on ADT for 20 years, Telus has left her vulnerable. 3 times this week I've called, 45 minutes of listening to telus ad after telus ad. Her landline & personal protection device is also with Telus 🙄 50 yr+ customer. We're looking for a new provider 👍

BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia
Every 3-days @telus calls me to ask for my husband and every 3-days I tell them to stop and also that we cancelled our home internet service when they refused to make it work at all so it’s a waste of sales time. Every time they say they made a note. Then are annoyed. Repeat.

Cam Cavers (@camcavers) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia
@wanless64 @gregeh I get discounts as a Telus contractor but honestly my ISP is cheaper and faster. 500mbps up/down for $65/month…

Is @Novusnow down AGAIN for anyone else in Yaletown? Super frustrating- second time in a month. Going to have to seriously consider switching to @TELUS or @Shawhelp - major problem when you’re working from home.

Diane S. Baker (@dianesbaker1) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia
@Zpdoodaa Beginning of this thread, “I formed an off shore company….”. Why? As an American I assumed you work in the US. Off shore entities are created for tax avoidance purposes. TELUS is a network provider in western Canada. Have an off shore LLC used to allow a Chinese partner. Booted.

SGC Dream a little. Dream a lot. (@SamGorC) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia
I love how Telus wears "we have the best customer service" on its sleeve and it still billed me AFTER I CUT MY SERVICE. I hate your service even more without even using it. That's a new low for a company in my books.
-
Ross Derewianko (@PingRD) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia
So @TELUS is doing a #purefiber upgrade in my building, they managed to knock @Novusnow down in half the building. When asked the techs stated "Novus must have a down fiber". I investigated and it turned out to be a loose ethernet cable...

@telus my gigabit internet is now 25mb. It has been atrocious for over a year - see the history of Speedtest results above. I have several key video calls late tonight and this is too much of a risk. Please help.

Hassled 3 different customer service people from Telus on the phone for an hour and a half and got my monthly phone/cable/internet bill down $80. It pays to be a Pain In The ***.

@JamesDueck @TELUSsupport Telus sucks everywhere At my moms house in Rutland the connection drops every 30 minutes or so, long enough to need to use phone data. I used all of my data when I barely left the house And all they do is tell you to reset the modem, or wait on hold for hours
-
Ximena España (@ximenaespana) reported
@TELUS good luck trying to call telus to terminate a contract. This is impossible. I wonder what consumer protection is set up for this type of events.
-
Bianconeri Capital 🦓 (@MEMBER31773) reported
@NilsTillander @tefficient I chalk it up due to poor competition, no mvnos (owned by mnos) and a predominantly 3 player market. Don’t forget that the players not only own their cell towers (no rental expense) but share networks….bell/Telus particularly

Rich Reist (@rich1299) reported
Scott, the former Telus exec/lobbyist, as chair of the CRTC said he had a "personal preference" for facilities based telecos like big 3 as opposed to service based ones like the smaller telecos competing w/ the big 3 It makes CRTC's reversal in big 3's favour stink even worse
-
Michele (@DutchLady) reported
@TELUSsupport hello, we want to watch #Youtube app on our tv but keep getting the “who’s watching” screen while the video plays. Is that a Telus or YouTube issue?
-
Lynda #EverChildMatters❤ #CanadianGovernmentSucks (@shoppingblonde) reported
@DisabledVancity @theJagmeetSingh @TELUS Dial up speeds is what you get with their $10/month for low income families, it's a joke The Big 3 Teleco's could provide a better service to us who live below the Poverty Line
-
Arákùnrin Mutiny⚓⚓⚓🔌🔌 (@Mutineer8961) reported
@kunmibode We pay too much for mediocre service. The speed Telus and Rogers dish you a $100+ plan is a joke. I was with Telus and you can't even watch a match on Dazn in real-time without buffering. I switched to Freedom (runs off Shaw) for half of what Telus was charging.
-
Sash (@smashamer) reported
@TELUSsupport Its all of it. My own account as well as the regular telus page. Been very laggy and often not loading pages. Tried Firefox and Chrome. Though it seems a bit better now, still on the slow side.
-
Big Joe (@BigJoevsBigMike) reported
@calgaryherald @TELUS The Telus internet in Some Red Deer industrial parks is atrocious, we can barley operate with the service that is provided. @TELUS On top, not getting called back when promised. Still waiting…. It’s been well over a week.

Nick VE7NCD (@ve7ncd) reported
@nsnwca I'm only using Rogers under duress, because their network is garbage outside of urban areas. You need to be on Bell/Telus to get anything in the Fraser Canyon, etc.
