mike blackmon (@MikeyBlackmon) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaWow so after 3.5 hours trying to help my parents switch to @ShawInfo and having a tech come out to their house, but they didn’t, and talking to the loyalty team @Shawhelp, they will be going back to Telus, haven’t seen service like this ever, and time for me to switch as well 👎
-
Ameer Z. (@1RovingNomad) reported from North Vancouver, British ColumbiaWorst telecommunications company in the world >>> @Rogers and Canada has one of the world's highest telecom rates.....and no competition you basically have two to choose from and more often than not Telus is not the choice (for some reason)
-
Lori Foster (@hornscallywag) reported from West End, British ColumbiaTelus sucks so hard their movies to their programing!!!!! They charge so much during a pandemic and keep young their price need more choice in Canada than this ****!

BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@maddynorton See, I enjoy the service at Telus except the part where nothing ever gets fixed.
-
Mark the Teacher (@mmgreid) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@CBCStephenQuinn just last week I had another awful call with @TELUS over the the 50% hike in my monthly home services bill. Loyalty discounts just don’t exist in the #telecom sector and they REALLY should.
-
Vik Saggu (@VancitySaggu) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@FlossYourTooth Wtf what’s this on Telus?
-
Stefano Buliani (@sapessi) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@lizthegrey Oh, super interesting. What did you use? Right now I have a telus box going into a Google wifi mesh + cat6 off the Google wifi (the house is all wired). Would love to be able to skip one hop and have internet go first to the wired network then wifi from there
-
David Schreck (@StrategicThghts) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia@TELUSsupport I have a Google email account and I don’t want another one. How do I stop nuisance text messages from TELUS about switching my TELUS email (which I never use).
-
Rob MacKay-Dunn 🇨🇦 (@robmackaydunn) reported from Westmount, British ColumbiaBeen hearing “coming soon” for 4+ years…is there an infrastructure issue with @TELUS & @WestVanDistrict?
-
Prince (@ImJustPrinceA) reported from Port Moody, British ColumbiaI hope Telus goes bankrupt. They call me the day I’m moving to tell me “we can’t provide services until Nov 8.” What ******** am I supposed to do for 2 weeks with no internet? Worst part is they knew it needed to be postponed a week ago. They just didn’t say anything.
-
Rob MacKay-Dunn 🇨🇦 (@robmackaydunn) reported from Westmount, British Columbia@TELUS’ internet service has gotten so bad that we have to pay for 2 DSL lines to keep our TV, Internet and security system somewhat stable.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaAnd yes. They customer service people are delightful and always eager to help. I love @TELUSsupport . But their job is made harder by unusable systems. I’ve put hours and hours and hours into trying to keep Telus as a provider but I it’s time to leave the abusive relationship.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@dustbobgod So far so good. We had to leave Telus, because it became unusable, and it’s been a delight ever since. With the exception of last week when the internet was out for most of a day but, hydro caused that problem. I was hesitant but happy to have switched. My wifi works now.
-
Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@PaulDoroshenko Except @Telus is far from an expert at much of anything. Their reputation is horrid at most everything. Even their own employees acknowledge how bad they are.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@hurrrdurrr @juliekrobe I mean, Copeman still exists, though owned by Telus now so not entirely. Also, you know full well the Canadian health care system would treat her and presumably she’s got travel insurance.
-
Patrick C. Lalonde (@ProfLalonde) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia@reporteremma Telus, Bell, and Rogers played these games in Windsor, Ontario (where I formerly lived) for years. The only solution I found was them adding a note / rule on my account that I wasn’t liable for roaming in Michigan. But it’s annoying having to call to back out charges. Frustrating
-
Trevor (@EastvanTrev) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaScam calls are getting out of hand. Over the past couple of days, I've had 5 calls for missing packages from DHL, CRA is sending someone to arrest me three times over and as of 5 minutes ago, my fourth covid emergency and I need to call back ASAP... Hey @TELUS and @Rogers , I bet
-
SGC Dream a little. Dream a lot. (@SamGorC) reported from Vancouver, British ColumbiaI swear, putting me on hold for so long when I phone you to cancel my internet service just reinforces the fact that I want to leave. Like do they think it's a tactic so people get impatient and hang up? Really Telus?
-
Langley (@Test123Do) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@TELUSsupport @TELUS #customersupport Is Telus shutdown? There is no customer rep to pick up customers calls to get cell phone support. My God! I disconnected phone after 2 hours
-
Kristy J. (@kristygilljames) reported from North Vancouver, British ColumbiaMST time? 7:48 in YVR-8:48 MST? @TELUSsupport your website say’s 9pm MST voicemail said you’re closed. Telus Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
BCTallTrees (@BcTall) reported@Angelahvn They installed Telus fiber here but it still has very SLOW periods. I'm still trying to figure it out (there's some online guidance on using a separate router downstream of the one Telus provides, for one)
-
bcevaj (@bcevaj) reported@TELUSsupport May's credit was for ‘no dial tone' issue. The current voicemail outage was a brand new failure that took 3 agents to fix. I am now denied compensation for a separate failure.#Telus ignored my DM. Ticket 11622008 and REF-260617 #Telus #CustomerServic
-
Sandie 🇫🇷🇮🇱🇨🇦🇺🇸 (@SandieAschem) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS They have the absolute worst customer service!
-
TELUS (@TELUS) reported@esSpyderMonkey Because TELUS TV+ streams live TV, we are legally bound by CRTC broadcast loudness laws (-24 LUFS), while apps like YouTube master their audio much 'hotter' (-14 LUFS). To fix the gap on Apple TV, try going to Settings > Video and Audio > turn on 'Reduce Loud Sounds'
-
Suleiman Damji (@SullyCanuck87) reported@jodyvance @TELUS Switch to Rogers Telus sucks *****
-
Salman (@salmanesmaili) reportedHey @TELUS @TELUSsupport Today I spent over 50 minutes on the phone just to add ONE channel to my TV package. It’s 2026. We have AI agents, autonomous vehicles, and instant digital banking. Yet a basic account change still requires nearly an hour with customer service. This isn’t a technology problem—it’s a customer experience problem. Do better. #TelecomMonopoly #LackOfCompetition Cc: @CRTCeng
-
Cory Syvenky 🇨🇦 (@cowtowncor) reported@witoldi @TELUS Still very unstable during primetime world cup matches. Horrible timing.
-
Amanda Ginn 💙🧡💙💚-x (@Simbarosa17) reportedWell @telus @TELUSsupport you better get my grandmas landline fixed soon as she is part an outage
-
Marco Niese (@marconiese) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS You fell for the "lease phone" trick. It's the same as leasing a car. Get the car, return it when your lease is up, and pay for any damage to the car. I never understood why that lease contract was legal in Canada. Next time only consider contracts where you own the phone.
-
Alison (@alialison54321) reported@garymasonglobe @TELUS Telus is the worst.
