-
Diane S. Baker (@dianesbaker1) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@Zpdoodaa Beginning of this thread, “I formed an off shore company….”. Why? As an American I assumed you work in the US. Off shore entities are created for tax avoidance purposes. TELUS is a network provider in western Canada. Have an off shore LLC used to allow a Chinese partner. Booted.

Stefano Buliani (@sapessi) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@lizthegrey Oh, super interesting. What did you use? Right now I have a telus box going into a Google wifi mesh + cat6 off the Google wifi (the house is all wired). Would love to be able to skip one hop and have internet go first to the wired network then wifi from there

feels like Groundhog Day (@sliver9754) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia@TELUSsupport @pattibacchus Telus is brutal! They convinced us that their service was better so we went to them after many happy years with Shaw, then instantly had issues they wouldn’t resolve and now we are stuck with them unless we pay 3 years of penalties! Counting the months to go back to @support_shaw
-
Nicky Bullets (@nbrosef) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@BuddJacket @BigNasty6oh4 @BigNasty6oh4 This. You just play them off each other and watch them beg for your service like the corporate bloodsuckers they are. Telus all day for TV never had complaints about their internet and I okay poker online. Just watch the upselling. Bloodsuckers all of them so.
-
Kiefer Abram (@kikithekrakra99) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@TELUSsupport @pgib That wont help! You suck telus and rogers @RogersHelps
-
David Schreck (@StrategicThghts) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia@TELUSsupport I have a Google email account and I don’t want another one. How do I stop nuisance text messages from TELUS about switching my TELUS email (which I never use).
-
Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@keithbaldrey If youve ever had to deal with @Telus you’d know this fiasco is par for the course. On a good day Telus is in a tight battle for one of the worst customer service, unresponsive, bureaucratic co’s in the country, on a bad day you get what happened.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@maddynorton See, I enjoy the service at Telus except the part where nothing ever gets fixed.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaGod speed the technician that comes back to deal with these @TELUS network issues because we have pages and pages of notes and screenshots and videos where we go from our 60 mbps to 0 until we reboot the system they fixed Thursday. I have to find somewhere to work tomorrow.
-
Trevor (@EastvanTrev) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaScam calls are getting out of hand. Over the past couple of days, I've had 5 calls for missing packages from DHL, CRA is sending someone to arrest me three times over and as of 5 minutes ago, my fourth covid emergency and I need to call back ASAP... Hey @TELUS and @Rogers , I bet

Michael Smit (@msmit) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@telus my gigabit internet is now 25mb. It has been atrocious for over a year - see the history of Speedtest results above. I have several key video calls late tonight and this is too much of a risk. Please help.
-
Kerri Coombs (@kerricoombs) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@pattibacchus @TELUS @TELUSsupport I use Lightspeed and have been paying about $40/month for years, as a very heavy internet user. Not sure how the service is because I've almost never needed it. I replaced a modem once and they were fine. Streaming is fine but YouTube uploads are kinda slow. I'm happy with them.
-
Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@casper5803 @richardzussman @TELUS where are they getting these agents so quickly? Great if they actually can, however, the reality remains where are they getting them & why werent they deployed yesterday when it became obvious their ineptitude was creating huge issues?
-
Steven 🇨🇦 ✡️ (@spawnsteryvr) reported from Vancouver, British ColumbiaWhy can’t I access my account @TELUSsupport? Broken links, can’t view/manage my account - this is not how you treat customers @TELUS.

-
Rob MacKay-Dunn 🇨🇦 (@robmackaydunn) reported from Westmount, British Columbia@TELUSsupport I seriously can’t remember how many times I’ve filled out your “Bring the TELUS PureFibre® network to my neighbourhood” form. TELUS marketers even call us to sell us PureFibre, only for us to have to explain to them that for some unexplainable reason @WestVanDistrict isn’t served
-
Nicholas John Ellan (@njfavengers) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaHey @Translink it's way past time we got indigenous place names going on some of these SkyTrain stations. Like Patterson? Braid? "Main St Science World"??? A) it's the Telus World of Science these days B) we don't need you to tell us it's on main st C) **** colonialism in the ear
-

-
Steven 🇨🇦 ✡️ (@spawnsteryvr) reported from Vancouver, British ColumbiaEpic fail today @TELUSsupport @TELUS. Not only did my appointment for today get bungled but now your agents can’t even schedule a new one. This is horrible customer service. A lesson in how not to handle customers.
Telus Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Del (@FullScopeWelds) reported@BCLionsDen @DarshanVancity @Rogers I've been with Telus forever. On jobsites out of town people recommend Rogers. Too many dead spots. Also cable and internet was horrible with Telus. Connection wasn't strong enough to watch TV with glitching out. Telus support is no help, they'll try to cover the problem.
-
Canadian fan (@fan_canadian97) reported@BluelineBardown @Rogers Telus is terrible
-
David Wedge (@TheCoverageGuy) reported@MacCash55 @TheStig_16 @TELUS The same TSN that shut down TSN 1040?
-
Sirenity (@Sirenity_yyc) reported@wyattd09 @TELUS @Rogers If you need a new mobile provider, I’m with Freedom. Genuinely good in-person support. They didn’t try to upsell me and had better plans than Bell
-
Larry O'Keefe (@VelvetCyclone) reportedThe outage map available via the internet that I couldn't turn my computer on to view and couldn't access even if I wanted to because the Eastlink, Telus, Rogers, and Bell towers had no power either?
-
𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑠ℎ 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑖𝑎𝑛 (@BCFriendlyTodd) reported@jodyvance @TELUS It's trouble when it's trouble. Customer service requires weeks now somehow.
-
Vancouver Island Guy 🌊 (@VanIsleInvestor) reportedCanadian Telco's getting whiplash back to 3 month lows and beyond from the risk of Starlink. Globe - The risk of Starlink entering Canada for wireless is unlikely due to foreign ownership rules, spectrum constraints and the MVNO framework. In our view, this makes Canadian telecom stocks, in a relative haven from the uncertainty around potential U.S. wireless disruption. Impact: Neutral to our estimates and long-term outlook. $T Telus - analyst downgraded and reduced $1.00 to $19 and expecting soft results and a dividend reset. $BCE BCE - Reduced target by $1.00 to $38 $RCI.B Rogers - No news for June or early July I have found. Riding down on the current Canadian Telco sentiment waiting for the sports spin off update at earnings.

Carol Topalian (@CarolTopalian) reportedNews must be a public service. The closure of radio news 1130 is criminal.Local newspapers were torched over a year ago, along with the radio traffic station. In MetroVancouver, a major city of 3 million, it has gone silent. Companies like Rogers and Telus are ANTI-Communications
-
Bob Bunting (@imaginet) reported@jodyvance @TELUS Just phone Telus Loyalty dept directly. Do not call customer or technical support. Cal loyalty and they will fix it all up and probably lower you bill at the same time. Sadly, like most, you have no idea how telecom works. You only know how to complain when it doesn’t.
-
Salty Cracker 🏴🇨🇦🤍 (@4lt4cOn) reported@MapleLeafs @Rogers Ya thanks for the heads up on the news radio cancellation! How can you justify that when you are literally robbing us for tv and phone services. Canceling my cell service as soon as the contract expires. Heading over to @TELUS
