  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@casper5803 @richardzussman @TELUS where are they getting these agents so quickly? Great if they actually can, however, the reality remains where are they getting them & why werent they deployed yesterday when it became obvious their ineptitude was creating huge issues?

  • VancitySaggu Vik Saggu (@VancitySaggu) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@FlossYourTooth Wtf what’s this on Telus?

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

I’ve been with @TELUS since they were Clearnet in 1995 and I’ve always enjoyed them but there is literally nothing they could do to redeem themselves from the year of garbage internet which they charged us $200 to “fix” making bricked unusable internet.

  • mattcolangelo Matt Colangelo (@mattcolangelo) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@telus our internet speed has been operating like it’s 1998. You have put us 23 years into the past. We have called your disgraceful support 4 times and have waited on hold for close to 5 hours only to receive support from humans with no solution. When are you going to fix it?

  • ProfLalonde Patrick C. Lalonde (@ProfLalonde) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia

@reporteremma Telus, Bell, and Rogers played these games in Windsor, Ontario (where I formerly lived) for years. The only solution I found was them adding a note / rule on my account that I wasn’t liable for roaming in Michigan. But it’s annoying having to call to back out charges. Frustrating

  • kristygilljames Kristy J. (@kristygilljames) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia

MST time? 7:48 in YVR-8:48 MST? @TELUSsupport your website say’s 9pm MST voicemail said you’re closed. (Called earlier &got estimated 90min wait time) However... I may be wrong with the times? Being charged for ADT and @telus SmartHome-need help sorting out please!

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Bzubyk We all know it’s drivel damage control written by a PR hack. What it didn’t say was how they were going to remedy to situation. Probably because that cost $ & everyone knows @Telus is loathe to spend $ on much but virtue signalling PR campaigns.

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@richardzussman @TELUS couldn’t organize its way out of one car parade. A truly horrid company. It’s no wonder this clown show was a failure. The govt should’ve known how bad Telus was before allowing them to undertake the task. It’s no wonder it failed. Relying on Telus is abysmal organization

  • StrategicThghts David Schreck (@StrategicThghts) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport I have a Google email account and I don’t want another one. How do I stop nuisance text messages from TELUS about switching my TELUS email (which I never use).

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@keithbaldrey If youve ever had to deal with @Telus you’d know this fiasco is par for the course. On a good day Telus is in a tight battle for one of the worst customer service, unresponsive, bureaucratic co’s in the country, on a bad day you get what happened.

  • robbahd Rob Bahd (@robbahd) reported from Delta, British Columbia

@RobShaw_BC @VaughnPalmer @TELUS So these call center agents are Telus employees? Adding agents to answer over a million calls is not going to solve the problem. A supplementary online system would have helped.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

It’s a refreshing change from weeks of condescending ineptitude from Telus technicians to have a Shaw person here who seems to know what a network cable is.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Telus knows as well as I do that I only have one other option for internet so they aren’t that motivated to provide technicians that can help with anything outside of plugging in a device. My husband had to troubleshoot for them last week.

  • njfavengers Nicholas John Ellan (@njfavengers) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Hey @Translink it's way past time we got indigenous place names going on some of these SkyTrain stations. Like Patterson? Braid? "Main St Science World"??? A) it's the Telus World of Science these days B) we don't need you to tell us it's on main st C) **** colonialism in the ear

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@DaveBeFit @TELUS @Shawhelp We don’t/can’t get fibre so they aren’t that motivated to help.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

And yes. They customer service people are delightful and always eager to help. I love @TELUSsupport . But their job is made harder by unusable systems. I’ve put hours and hours and hours into trying to keep Telus as a provider but I it’s time to leave the abusive relationship.

  • doppelganger70 mea70 (@doppelganger70) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia

Is #Telus internet down in North Vancouver/Capilano area or is it just me? @TELUSsupport #PureFibre #NorthVan

  • bh_ b ran out of time (@bh_) reported from Mount Pleasant, British Columbia

Rogers, Telus, Bell was too many. I think we should all just stop doing business with Bell. They’re already weakened. If we can get Rogers, Telus, Bell down to 2 then that just seems like a better amount to me.

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Bzubyk @TELUS If you’ve ever had an issue with this horrid Telcom, you’d understand how bureaucratic & truly Inept they actually are. This isn’t really all that surprising when you team an inept co with an obviously feckless bureaucracy

  • BrandonCrowe97 Brandon Crowe *Burner (@BrandonCrowe97) reported from Pitt Meadows, British Columbia

@SamsungMobileCA @RogersHelps Pissed off fans are bad for business. Hey Rogers, remember a couple years ago when I left you? Then when I left Telus and came back 2 MOs ago? Hey Samsung, you ever heard of Huawei? Keep pissing off your Fan Edition base.......

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • DrJayDrNo Jay Gamble (@DrJayDrNo) reported

Lethbridge has no OB-GYN, apparently. I expect Smithnwesson’s solution will be a TELUS app and alternative medicine from your local veterinarian.

  • davidjwyse1 yyy (@davidjwyse1) reported

@telus OMG just had both the best and the worst service experience with your team members while trying to order wireless service and internet. No one on your teams speak to one another or leave notes on files?!? ARGH.

  • p1z4T A-Wax (@p1z4T) reported

@RackedNStacked Verizon bought Bell Atl (1997). Revenue wise yes ATT. Wireless is VZ. The US has become Canada in the regard. Canada has 3 major cell carriers Telus/Rogers/BCE. They have the highest cell bills in the world. It's all bad business. No competition whatsoever.

  • SaskTel SaskTel (@SaskTel) reported

@Xzyer @TELUS Hi Gavin, we are aiming to support in Spring 2023. Once eSIM has launched we will provide a list of compatible devices that will support it.

  • lindsaygaudet Lindsay (@lindsaygaudet) reported

Thank you @TELUS /@TELUSsupport for turning a small issue with my phone that should have been easily rectified into a big issue causing us to look for another provider - so many employees but none are empowered to do anything #poorcustomerservice

  • HelenSumarak Helen (@HelenSumarak) reported

And I also DM'd Telus support on October 22nd as it says to do on your website and no response there either.

  • kajanrajah1 Kajan Rajah (@kajanrajah1) reported

    @TELUS @TELUSsupport worst home security system *#donotbuy

  • Xzyer Gavin (@Xzyer) reported

@SaskTel @TELUS If you already support the Cellular Apple Watch then you already support eSIM, they both use the same eSIM tech. So why are you exclusively offering the use of eSIM for only Apple Watches? Seems like an exclusivity deal that your customer base should know about.

  • yegnav Jigga (@yegnav) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUSsupport Telus charging me $1,900 for a phone bill. Been trying to get a resolution for months but instead I get warnings to pay. Will anyone correct my bill or do I need to cancel my companies services?

  • TheoWerewolf The Werewolf (@TheoWerewolf) reported

Then there's cellcos (Telus is Telus, Koodo and more) and the partitioning of the country for internet and cable TV. Competition? I'm sure they'll find that "there's enough" because this is hardly new and no one's had issues so far. /s
