Telus Issues Reports Near Anmore, British Columbia

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Anmore and nearby locations:

  • spawnsteryvr Steven 🇨🇦 ✡️ (@spawnsteryvr) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@TransLink The problem here is that Shaw, at best, is free for 1/2 hour if you’re not one of their customers. Telus (what’s in Metro Vancouver taxis) would’ve been better. That’s actually free.

  • Westjet007 Jennifer West (@Westjet007) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

I seriously recommend that people NOT get services with @Shawhelp. They don't keep their word and customer service is atrocious. Telus is your better option.

  • j_holtslander Jay Holtslander (@j_holtslander) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@chrisonhismac I despise Telus as a service provider so I’ll stick to Rogers even with the lesser coverage.

  • KalpnaSolanki1 Kalpna (@KalpnaSolanki1) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport Fibre is available in our area and line is in place. Tech just did not know how to do the connection! Yet, @telus discontinued the old service!

  • spawnsteryvr Steven 🇨🇦 ✡️ (@spawnsteryvr) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@pacificbird @TELUSsupport Yeah been getting those too. Email is very sporadic. What might not send right away, ends up going a couple of minutes later. I checked the outage page and Telus is still experiencing issues. Supposed to be resolved sometime around 1 P.M. PST.

  • banger19 Michelle Bancroft (@banger19) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport Any word on when this outage will be resolved. Difficult to conduct business and connect with people without email. #telus #compensation

  • jimgordontv Jim Gordon (@jimgordontv) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport This has been a disgraceful (and for me, expensive), technical episode #telus and as a 25 year loyal customer who has cell, home phone, internet and tv with you, I will be looking at whether I continue with you!!

  • jodyvance Jody Vance (@jodyvance) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@rxstephanie @Yankoster @TELUSsupport @TELUS I will give them a chance to fix what's happened. Having my bill jump by $20 a month, without reason, is sketchy.

  • SbonnerABV SbonnerABV (@SbonnerABV) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

I’ve had TELUS at my condo in Gastown for over 20 years. Way better service and 4K services. Waiting for them to arrive in Yaletown to switch over.

  • Margieville Margieville (@Margieville) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Over the past couple of days I've experienced the best & worst of customer service & support. @lululemon has killed it yet again with their planning for @SeaWheeze - great customer support. My experiece with my @telus webmail & @TELUSsupport has been quite the opposite.

  • iheliconnet HeliConnect (@iheliconnet) reported from Delta, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport been on hold for 30 minutes. Soon as a delta cable/eastlink gets a bit higher speed I’m so gone. We have a total outage. No acknowledgment on Telus’s past othervthan leave you on hold. Could at least put a notice out or something! SUCKS!!!

  • jimgordontv Jim Gordon (@jimgordontv) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport Im a 25 year #telus customer and have everything with you guys. This ongoing outage problem on a work day is inexcusable!! You've cost me a day's wages!!!

  • RajeshPrashar Rajesh Prashar (@RajeshPrashar) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport I got email telling me that I could use Telus Home Phone app. When tried to log in to app I got message that the service was not available in my area.

  • Margieville Margieville (@Margieville) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

I'm in the 2nd day, heading into the 3rd with no email service which means all the documents I need & memories which are being shared with me for this weekend's race aren't accessible. You're one of the largest telecom companies @TELUS get your crap together and fix this!

  • spawnsteryvr Steven 🇨🇦 ✡️ (@spawnsteryvr) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Email down and out in Vancouver.....again. Thanks for nothing #Telus.

  • MeowjinBoo River B^#!$ Meowjin (@MeowjinBoo) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@smashforwarddoc @TELUS @STORYHIVE Oh damn the project won. Grats!

  • RSine57 Ron Sine (@RSine57) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport still 36 and still counting hours with no email. No answers as to why either. Poor job for everyone associated with #TELUS Do Better

  • KalpnaSolanki1 Kalpna (@KalpnaSolanki1) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Tsk Tsk @TELUS cancelling my old internet service in anticipation of fibre optic being connected WITHOUT verification that the work had actually been completed. Now I have no internet connection at all @TELUSsupport #FAIL

  • gh0stflesh Slurms MacKenzie (@gh0stflesh) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia

Telus pls come fix our internet I haven't been able to take my Spanish lessons in a full week and the duolingo owl is trying to kill me

  • KimABowie Kimberley Bowie (@KimABowie) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Ian_A_MacDonald @jodyvance @TELUS I’m so sorry. Telus is brutal and overcharges me every month. And customer service is abysmal.

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • TELUS TELUS (@TELUS) reported

@tedbouskill Hi Ted- TELUS Wi-Fi Calling cannot be used while travelling outside of Canada. If you made/received a phone call or sent a SMS text, this will activate your roaming. To avoid any roaming charges we recommend turning off automatic network selection.

  • JabberwockyP Jabberwocky (@JabberwockyP) reported

@SassBot69 @RomeTimed @theJagmeetSingh Yeah. However, it wasn't just SaskTel and MTS that offered those prices. Rogers, Bell, and Telus matched. So that leaves 2 possibilities. Either they lost money on providing service there for that price (gouging the rest of us to make up for it) or it was still profitable.

  • JudyMaxB9632935 Judy Maxine 🇨🇦 (@JudyMaxB9632935) reported

@Terence75852488 @BrynMightyMouth Same. And when I needed a box replaced, they came within a couple days, fixed no problem. Love Telus.

  • Donn_80 The Collector (@Donn_80) reported

Nice @telus @telusmobility . A phone case I bought from your store causes scratches on the back of a phone, and the phone has no other issues, but it does not qualify for the bring back program so I have to pay $500. Good thing I got the extended warranty that also costs $500.

  • coachworth Jonas Worth (@coachworth) reported

And thanks for the two year contract on TV that I didn't order. I don't even have TV service but you unilaterally added it for 2 years. Do you even know how a contract works? It requires two parties to agree. @TELUS This is why Canada needs competition in the comms biz. #Telus

  • jaquavion0_ jax (@jaquavion0_) reported

My packet loss ping and internet on my pc has been terrible I’m currently factory resetting my computer to prove to the shittiest internet company @TELUS that it’s not my computer it’s the ****** wifi they give my parents pay over 100 dollars a month for

  • MyTruthMyBody warehousewilly51 #FUT #BanishTheFourHorsemen (@MyTruthMyBody) reported

@TELUS Canada is responsible for 1.6% of 0.04%. Let that fact sink in....get the picture. We in Canada as in most of the World are @ 0 Co@ Emissions and have been. THERE IS NO Co2 Climate Crisis. You claim to be up to date, look into Geoengineering. Your asleep or part of the problem.

  • Mattcryderman1 Apollo (@Mattcryderman1) reported

@BrynMightyMouth Shaw / Rogers advertises 500 mb/ps and they can reach that but average in at about 300, so you can go with Telus for 75 and that’s not averaged down yet or Shaw at average 300.

  • pammyJ79 PJ (@pammyJ79) reported

@eissyrc My home internet is thru Telus as well, had no issues with it though.

  • justjennni jenni (@justjennni) reported

@AndrewMowat1969 @BrynMightyMouth Telus is the worst! I have park power internet and it’s been great. And half the price!
