  @kboyd05 Good luck. Took 1.5 hrs to deal with @TELUS yesterday to deal with an over billing issue. On any given day, Telus is possibly the worst company in Canada to deal with. Bureaucratic, unresponsive, inept, and that’s just the start.

  Had a good talk with .@Shawhelp this weekend. After 20+ years of service, they played the greed game and didn’t want to talk. Called @TELUS and so happy to talk and worked a fabulous deal. father in law is happy as he will be saving $600/ year on home internet, cable and phone.

  @pattibacchus @TELUS @TELUSsupport I use Lightspeed and have been paying about $40/month for years, as a very heavy internet user. Not sure how the service is because I've almost never needed it. I replaced a modem once and they were fine. Streaming is fine but YouTube uploads are kinda slow. I'm happy with them.

  @TELUSsupport between July 28 and today Aug 5 l have spoke to at least 8-9 Telus agents to resolve a problem . I've had agents diarize to call me back as follow up ... nothing. Any other business working like this would be bankrupt. Telus is the worst provider choice !!!

  $TU — Dividend investors in TU just got peeled. TELUS announced a brutal 55% dividend cut to $0.1875/quarter, coinciding with a $2.1 billion non-cash impairment at TELUS Digital. This drove a $1.8 billion net loss for Q2. This wasn't a minor tweak; it's a clear signal of deeper operational challenges, especially within their digital segment, following a Q1 dividend growth pause and a 52% net income drop in May. The drastic dividend reset aims to deleverage the balance sheet, targeting 3.0x net debt/EBITDA by end-2028 from 3.5x currently. This move is expected to save $2.7 billion cumulatively through 2028, with the DRIP discount ending October 1st to further reduce dilution. Full-year guidance was slashed across the board: service revenue now flat to -2%, Adjusted EBITDA -2% to -4%, and free cash flow around $1.8 billion. This magnitude of impairment and guidance cut will rattle income-focused portfolios. We're watching for concrete asset monetization updates and progress on their leverage target.   @MPelletierCIO 9$ target, at that point depending on what telus is doing, its an acceptable buy if they havent removed most of their old management, then its not a buy yet as they will continue to allocate capital incorrectly. It's hard to allocate capital correctly if you believe you dont need to understand how the technology works that you're managing and building. Bad Culture. Truth hurts. Telus is a dud until they clear the house

  @nenshi Just like your Fellow BC NDP Party is doing Naheed. Telus building 3 AI sites in Metro Vancouver. No extra baseline dispachable power either ? BC Hydro scrambling saying they will be short 20 % by 2029. But BC NDP puts up 4 more Bird killing windmills to help supply AI power
