🌤 L&G Weather, News & Traffic 🌡 (@WeatherLandG) reported from Augusta, OntarioIn 9 years my rural internet has improved…from 7 Mbps down 1 up to 35 Mbps down 5 up. 50 down / 10 up is considered essential in Canada but @bell boasts that their customers get 3 GB down 3 GB up. I live in a subdivision 5 mins north of @TownofPrescott not the middle of the bush

🌤 L&G Weather, News & Traffic ☃️ (@WeatherLandG) reported from Augusta, Ontario@747_s @Bell @EORN_CA @SteveClarkPC @MikeBarrettON @Xplornet Our friends at @EORN_CA are supposed to be representing us but they’re endorsing an inferior service. They need to ditch Xplornet and support reliable, affordable carriers that people here can afford. I pay over $100 a month for 15 Mbps this is not a reasonable expense!

🌤 L&G Weather, News & Traffic ☃️ (@WeatherLandG) reported from Augusta, Ontario@GratisLoqui @Bell @EORN_CA I 100% agree. To @EORN_CA the problem has been solved and Xplornet was the solution in their eyes. Curious how many of the board members at EORN have that service. It’s not adequate. I have Joe 15 and currently getting 5 on a good day. 🤬

ღCocoღ (@AllTheLoveCoco) reportedI can’t wrap my head around how @bell tells me bc I’m a loyal customer I can have a $100 credit towards a new phone but then my dad calls to see if they could give him a better price to move his phone over to Bell and they give him the same deal....what’s the loyalty benefit?

asahisuperdry (@thatshibeguy) reported@Bell_Support Yet my service in manitoba is awful, fiber optic yet if one person is streaming our internet drops to 1mb...

Pissy Badger (@pissybadger) reportedI’m happy to report that my mom is no longer a @bell user, and never will be, again.

Scott Fischer (@JSFischerOnt) reported@Brewski2020 @Bell Lol. Rural internet at my house is $400 per month for 20mbps up and 20mbps down. Power failure and the antenna goes down. My cottage has a rogers rocket hub doing 5 down and 1 up. I pay $60 per month and the overage charges push me to $600 per month. Starlink is nothing.
-
ღCocoღ (@AllTheLoveCoco) reported@rebeccarightnow @Bell There was no note. There’s no way one of the representatives would’ve told me that. The woman was so rude to me on the phone I had to literally tell her to stop being snarky with me. She said they’d have to request the recordings of my calls the week before and I’d have to wait+
-
ღCocoღ (@AllTheLoveCoco) reported@rebeccarightnow @Bell Up to seven business days for them to listen to it to tell if I’m lying or not. Like I just feel so kicked around and I’m almost at a point of just going elsewhere like what’s the point in having loyalty to a company who pretty much tells the client they’re lying and is rude
-
Wally Kibler (@Brewski2020) reported@JSFischerOnt @Bell Starlink is a bit pricey. Starlink hardware, which includes a satellite dish costs $649, and the service is $129 per month. Hopefully the cost will drop in time.
