@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Our call centres have been managed for decades this way. It was always a long hold on the phone for technical support. All the best on hold. It can be frustrating but help awaits...

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Hmmm, what happened to all the "we're CANADIAN" patriotic bullshit? Oh, I guess 100% Canadian just means 'we're not using American products ' You do realize we live in a very very sick country. Oh, and "diversity is out strength " one of the absolutely stupidest slogans stupid people ever fell for. Utterly absolutely stupid.

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers That impeccable English might have been the AI tool altering foreign accents, that the companies are now using for outsourced customer services.

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers I've been directed to call centres in El Salvador, Philippines, India. Same problem understanding sometimes. Moroccan language (North African "Arabic") is not Arabic.

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers CRTC is a total "Old Boys' Club," controlled by ex-telecom industry executives. They are there to help their buddies and their stock portfolios, not consumers. That is why Canadians pay 3-4x more for cell phone and Internet service than consumers in the US.

@Rogers very accutate statement. Ridiculous prices for a connection that has issues multiple times daily.

@d2thethomas @JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Ha! Been there, done that. The store staff will tell you they can’t help you and hand you their phone to use to call the call centre

It’s now beyond enough @Rogers … since Monday 8am no internet and initially 3-5 hr outage. It’s Tuesday 🤬

@ccoutu1 @Rogers @RogersHelps Telus is worse , fyi. Roger’s was the only company with service while I was away this past few days meanwhile I had 0. It’s not a single companies fault it’s the entire infrastructure in the North. Maybe call Chris Sc….oh wait
