@HeatherMoAndCo @Rogers The last outage because of the software update on their cellular service was one day credit off of each affected service. It was proportional to your monthly payment divided by the number of days in the month. In my case I had 6 lines and it worked out to nearly 10$.

@JamieON94964661 @RogersHelps I’m so sorry Jamie, that’s horrible. I’ve got parents the same age that live 5 hours away, so I understand the worry. If your dad is in London, ON, I’d be happy to go check in on him for you. I’ve got cell service at least.

@RogersHelps thanks for screwing up my network with yesterday’s outage!! Now I have spend my time setting everything back up!! I wish you offered more options on your router so this type of stuff can be quickly corrected!

I hope the @Rogers outage will be a wakeup call for the @CRTCeng to finally tackle monopolies in Canada. Why isn't there a back-up when these big companies fail? How many people couldn't reach emergency services or family during this outage?
