  • MsYouDoYou
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@RallyMD @Shawhelp I was mid presentation and had a very busy day. This is not funny. This is income loss and business loss and absolutely unacceptable to take down a whole area unannounced. There is no joke here. This is a massive concern for me and my neighbours.

  • ravikanji
RAVI PATEL (@ravikanji) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia

@Shawhelp worst telephone support. You guys take more than an hour to talk. Don’t pretend you are overbusy.

  • DekeyPetey40
Rosario (@DekeyPetey40) reported from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia

  • YouTravel
Ursula Maxwell-Lewis (@YouTravel) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Thank you for your kind response. I contacted a friend who works for @TELUS . He guided me through resetting some coordinates. Seems okay now. My files show dealing with Patricia approx. a year ago. I'd noted her poor CR then. Twice bitten! 🥺

  • AHMED__1095
Muji (@AHMED__1095) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@Shawhelp is there some sort of internet issue going on currently? Can’t seem to connect, have rebooted multiple times

  • triple_aardvark
Travis Hill (@triple_aardvark) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@Shawhelp I appreciate the reply, but my parents aren't on Twitter. Phone support is important both because not everyone is Internet savvy, and also because Internet connectivity is often the problem your customers are trying to contact you about.

  • YouTravel
Ursula Maxwell Travels (@YouTravel) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

Why do I pay @Shawhelp so much for Internet monthly and they tell me I'm 'unstable'?! Okay, to be precise "Your connection is unstable". Now, honestly! What next! 🥴

  • DaddyR69
Roland van Kaauwen (@DaddyR69) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@ShawInfo. 24/7 customer support, my *** !!! I’ve been 1st in the queu for almost 2 hours now. Did your people go home and leave me on hold ?!?!? 😡

  • andrewcook
Andrew Cook (@andrewcook) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@Shawhelp why would you cut my internet off after sending me your shaw mobile sim cards? You cut all my service so I have to sign up to tether? I cannot understand why you would do this. A tech now can't come to fix for 7 days. 7!

  • satanic__panic
Robyn ⸸ Graves (@satanic__panic) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Surrey wifi seems to be completely down just heads up

  • fmengo
Fabricio Mengo (@fmengo) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

@Shawhelp I’m trying to move my service and I don’t have answer from you. I booked to move for Dec 23, and still waiting. I talked to 7 different agents and no answer. Your service sucks.

  • Vancity_AC
AdrianC (@Vancity_AC) reported from Coquitlam, British Columbia

.@Shawhelp I’ve spent over 3hrs, transferred between 5 agents on chat. Called, transferred, forwarded to FREEDOM mobile (WTF?) for activation, re-dialed Shaw 5-6 times. ALL THIS TO ACTIVATE A NEW SIM. Your warehouse sent cars to wrong address.

  • katrina_albert
Katrina Albert (@katrina_albert) reported from Langley, British Columbia

@Shawhelp I’ve lost my tv/internet connection at least 4 times in the past 1.5 months and have been on hold on the phone for HOURS trying to fix the issue. This is not acceptable. Please DM me. I’m not a happy customer.

  • Zharphyn
Brad Thiessen (@Zharphyn) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Your CSR Robert V45Y, is providing a fairly disappointing customer experience. I feel like I am being lied to, and he is lowering my opinion of your company’s ability to provide me the service that I want.

Shaw Issues Reports

  • TrinaMLee
    Trina M. Lee (@TrinaMLee) reported

@Shawhelp is there any reason why the Wi-Fi is cutting out repeatedly in stony plain? It’s been happening all weekend but got really bad this morning.

  • bc_2025_vision
    bc_2027 (@bc_2025_vision) reported

@Shawhelp We really need wait times & callback from Rogers with Shaw support. We had this for > 10 years before it was stopped. Now TELUS has these services and Rogers with Shaw does not. @Rogers Customer service should not be a hardship on hold … no clue whether we will wait hours😟

  • GuyBarnabe
    Guy_Barnabe (@GuyBarnabe) reported

@Shawhelp problems with ABC this morning in Winnipeg: XRE-031 37 This channel is temporarily unavailable…. Tried on multiple terminals and via Rogers watch-online website…

  • MaryPChipman
    Ugabug (@MaryPChipman) reported

@Shawhelp The new cable-less TV boxes are terrible: everytime the WiFi is interrupted by less than a nanosecond, it crashes. I end up watching on apps instead. So-called 'progress' is actually worse than the tech before it.

  • LesIsMore1
    Les Stelmach 🇨🇦🇺🇦 (@LesIsMore1) reported

@slackerman10 @Shawhelp Any company (telcos, banks, util, etc) whose phone line REGULARLY says “we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes” is just short-staffing. They are optimizing cost over service. What is the maximum tolerance for a customer, etc. it’s obviously worse for oligopoly

  • Tomuhthy
    Tomnado (@Tomuhthy) reported

@Shawhelp is there a reason why the internet is not working in the north Burnaby area

  • LindsayWiebeRD
    Lindsay I.R Wiebe (@LindsayWiebeRD) reported

@Shawhelp I’ve had 2, and they both have. I am just disappointed and done with this modem. Service used to be so much better.

  • __guzzzzi
    Guzzzi (@__guzzzzi) reported

@ACBgal @Shawhelp Hey! Did you fix it? Same problem here

  • MaryPChipman
    Ugabug (@MaryPChipman) reported

@Shawhelp But it's time consuming, the TV settings show our WiFi signal is strong & everything else in the house works, so why should I? It's just the tech concept is faulty.

  • Valomir
    Tyler ❄☕☃ (@Valomir) reported

@Shawhelp There was no known outage. My mo-... *sob* my modem reached the end of it's lifecycle. It died doing it's duty; providing me with high speed internet access both via internet and Wi-Fi. *sob* I am forever grateful for its service and will cherish the memories we made.
