@ShawInfo Internet and landline have been down since the power outage. BC Hydro restored power yesterday morning but still no internet or phone. What's up with that? Makes it difficult to work from home...

  • GillespieClay clay gillespie (@GillespieClay) reported

@Shawhelp Still no internet - 36 hours. Both Telus and Rogers working. They also don't want to give update. This is inexcusable. Leaving customers in the dark is horrible client service.

  • PigskinAnnie PS Annie (@PigskinAnnie) reported

@Shawhelp We've had no internet or cable in Cowichan Bay since 9AM on Monday. Hydro was back on at 10PM Monday. We keep being told it's due to hydro outages in the area but there are no outages for several kms. No crews on-site. How can you be sure there's no local damage?

  • PeterAtwal Peter Atwal (@PeterAtwal) reported

@Shawhelp Any status update yet on this outage, other than the generic reply?

  • TMRWilson Teeny Tiny Turtle (@TMRWilson) reported

@Shawhelp we've been 24 hours with no internet or cable yet we've had power since yesterday morning. I know the storm caused a lot of damage but our internet has never been out this long before.

  • GillespieClay clay gillespie (@GillespieClay) reported

@Shawhelp I did - still no response. Lack of information and communication is horrible. We all just information just blaming a power outage when we all have power seems strange. No backups or other service models seems pretty antiquated.

  • TMRWilson Taylor (@TMRWilson) reported

@Shawhelp good morning, we've been over 24 hours with no internet or cable yet we've had power since yesterday morning in Maple Ridge. I know the storm caused a lot of damage but our internet has never been out this long before. I sent you a dm already as well.

  • CuzICantStop Cuzi (@CuzICantStop) reported

@Shawhelp internet outage yet again. So on top of the only 350mbps I get while paying for 1gbps (equipment has all been tested capable of 1gbps) now I get to sit around and wait for the internet to actually work. Yay.
