Alice, The Alice (@AliceTheAlice1) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@ShawInfo There's a reason behind the generic design of a thin rectangle in electronics. It's to allow the heat to spread and disappait. This unit is not designed as such so no wonder it sucks at regulating it's internal temperature.

Tiffany Kalanj (@TiffanyKalanj) reported from Vancouver, British ColumbiaWord to the wise- don’t use @ShawInfo - they added charges to my bill and I’ve been bounced from messenger, phone and now “email” customer service reps each time I’m told “sorry I’m not able to help me”. Careful - don’t sign a contract. #shady

Alice, The Alice (@AliceTheAlice1) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@GraemeFreeman @ShawInfo You would not trust an ISP with your home network so it's not like that's too much of a concern. I cannot imagine ever operating my home network via an ISP's Modem's router features.
