  • GordieLogan Fully Vaxed Gordie Logan (@GordieLogan) reported from Langford, British Columbia

Oh @TELUS, as a 30yr+ customer, I’ve never been so frustrated. I just had my appt for tomorrow cancelled. All because fiber hasn’t been run to the house yet. This is after an appt last week was cancelled for the same reason. Plz note, I made last weeks appt a month ago.

  • RevheidiK Revheidi Koschzeck (@RevheidiK) reported from Langford, British Columbia

How is it the Province's fault that a million people couldn't follow simple instructions and wait to call for a vaccination until it was their turn? Not having a callback queue was definitely a big mistake which I hope Telus will fix. #blamegame #CommonSense

  • sherryella77 Sherry Merriam (@sherryella77) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

Going on day 8 & still no email on iPhone. Can’t get any of the old emails I need for this #militarymove What an absolute shit show. Im so mad I could spit nails. The “I’m sorry’s are getting super freaking old. Day 2 with no call back from TELUS even tho Im in queue #telusfail

  • zaxbux Zach (@zaxbux) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

Does anyone have any idea why some @Microsoft web properties (recently LinkedIn and Visual Studio Marketplace) randomly refuse connections? Appears to only be an issue on @Telus IPv6. Mobile data and IPv4 are not affected. 🤬🤯

  • brandonscript Brandon ::1 (@brandonscript) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

@cohix Hmmm I had a pretty bad experience with them years ago, but if my choice is them or Telus idk!

  • tysoup Ty_soup (@tysoup) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

@telusmobility so glad I spent my entire 30 minute lunch on hold with you.. had to hang up as I got to go back to work (something your staff apparently doesn’t do) simple question with 0 answers available online for it.. ppl say I shld leave TELUS, considering it now

  • Tamjam3z Tam Jam💲 (@Tamjam3z) reported from Esquimalt, British Columbia

Why ******** does telus keep calling me at 745pm every night and hanging up? Get real.

  • Cheri_L_S Cheri S (@Cheri_L_S) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

Telus has made 0 attempt to contact me about my TV taking longer than the "few weeks" promised when I signed up 16 wks ago. I was told weeks ago there was a Covid related delay & that someone would contact me. No contact. No stock problems @ Bestbuy. Where is my TV? @TELUSsupport

  • LloydMildon Lloyd Mildon (@LloydMildon) reported from Oak Bay, British Columbia

On my @TELUS optik TV I now have to watch ads before I am permitted to move on to the programming. This is horrible. I’m the customer. I’m the guy paying the bills. Just stop it, @telus. @telussupport

  • holtyny Ian holt (@holtyny) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

@TELUS @TELUSsupport as long as this keeps going on I will advise our new neighbours to go to @Shawhelp a lady yesterday was having problems with telus to move in next month so now she is calling shaw this morning. Shaw as been brilliant.

  • suestroud Sue Stroud she/her 🍊❤️💪🏼 (@suestroud) reported from Central Saanich, British Columbia

@mackenzie_moira @unionwill @TELUS Even without the pandemic, for the amount the gouge from us service should be far better whether phone, tv, internet etc.

  • audiophilia Anthony Kershaw (@audiophilia) reported from View Royal, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport @TELUS thx Dave in Tech Support (via phone). The hour long hold was worth it. Total professional and very effective. Did he know his stuff! 👍👍

  • RealNealDeal H. Neal Cropper (@RealNealDeal) reported from Metchosin, British Columbia

@dewolfe001 @TELUS I really wanted to switch to Telus but everyone I spoke with was so inept I ended up staying with Shaw and their substandard service. I just couldn't imagine having to deal with them as a customer when discussing switching and becoming a customer was so very bad.

  • BarbaraDarlin20 Barbara Darling (@BarbaraDarlin20) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

@MirandaWiebe @TELUS Same here 4 hours and someone was supposed to call me back within 30 minutes twice now and I'm still waiting. Really bad customer service and I started at 730 this morning

  • brandonscript Brandon Rylow (@brandonscript) reported from Saanich, British Columbia

I didn’t cost Rogers a dime in staffing in the last 12 months, and I’ve been a pretty easy going customer for 15 years. I’m done though. I’m done being their customer. I want a cell phone plan with a company that isn’t this despicable, but sadly Telus and Bell are on that list.

  • vicmomdoc Jenn Tranmer (@vicmomdoc) reported from Langford, British Columbia

@antric @TELUS @ShawInfo Yup @ShawInfo asked me to DM. Then I did. Then they didn’t respond. I tried their virtual assistant online. No response either. I get better service in Nicaragua than here. @cbcmarketplace help.

  • sherryella77 West Coast Coco Mermaid 🧜🏾‍♀️ (@sherryella77) reported from Colwood, British Columbia

@MACIConventions @TELUSsupport 30+ mins. I wish. I had to hang up at 2 hours and 3 mins. No one ever answers. I sent a DM to them on Friday and it was just answered 5 mins ago with a “sorry we can’t assist you via social media but we encourage you to call Telus”. Such a freaking joke.

  • bellasugarsega Jody Klassen (@bellasugarsega) reported from Langford, British Columbia

I was a @Shawhelp customer for 5 years, until today. Cancelling my service and going with Telus instead. Don’t use this company for internet services, all you’ll have is regrets and ****** hardware.

  • suestroud Sue Stroud she/her 🍊❤️💪🏼 (@suestroud) reported from Central Saanich, British Columbia

@PeninsulaNews Who cares? We already know as daily consumers how bad Telus is. They apologized. BCLibs need to find something useful to do.

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MrChavez101 Robert Chavez (@MrChavez101) reported

@its_shevi @TELUS Damn, give us a review later on and let us know how it is! I'm fixing to get myself one as well.

  • ty_olsen Tyler Olsen (@ty_olsen) reported

    1. I asked Telus why they couldn't route customers' 911 calls onto competitors. 2. They said there was no competition in the canyon & blamed Rogers/Shaw 3. I noted that Virgin customers (like me) can get service in the canyon via the Bell network. 4. They ignored that.

  • Schmack2604 Dmackie (@Schmack2604) reported

@TELUS @telus help me understand how it costs me $100 per month more to upgrade an existing line, but if I add a new line, I can get a better deal? As a long time Telus customer, do I not deserve to have the best pricing available?

  • sunnywaters12 Becky Price (@sunnywaters12) reported

My satellite service has changed again. Some improvement for a week. I won’t sort out why they call anything an advanced payment at Telus. I did have various other real problems there. Lately I’ve felt Telus shouldn’t advertise a service at all when the service is substandard.

  • TrishMuskoka Trish Thornton (@TrishMuskoka) reported

@Donna_Thorp_ @Mikeggibbs Me too...never had an issue with Telus mobility

  • JenRLabelle Jen Labelle (@JenRLabelle) reported

@TELUS Automated phone system is crap. Your phone cables are currently hanging so low that they drag across our garage & pergola. We need a tech to come fix it. Is there a way to contact that will actually be useful? I'd hate to have to cut them to make it stop

  • overseaskate dxbyoung (@overseaskate) reported

@ShawInfo Funny business model you have. Call today about reinstating my services for what I was offered before they were Disconnected. Told it was going to be $60 more per month because I was an existing customer and would rather have me switch to Telus for the next two years.

  • DLitz microarchitectural side-channel attacks (@DLitz) reported

You can't cancel online (even though you can add/change services online just fine), but My TELUS doesn't even _tell_ you that anywhere obvious. Even their support chatbot beats around the bush about it.

  • JaxSargette Jackie She/Her (@JaxSargette) reported

For example: I am on the TELUS SmartHub. It is "okay" for the most part, but has limitations. For instance, I am limited to 10 devices being connected to my SmartHub wifi network. TVs and computers take up most of that space.

  • stuharcan Stuart Harroun (@stuharcan) reported

@jeffhutcheson Bell is notorious for this kind of thing their equipment breaks more often than not and you call customer service and half the time they are rude and condescending they are also starting to lose marketshares to telus so they are grasping at straws to try to stop the bleeding
