@MirandaWiebe @TELUS Same here 4 hours and someone was supposed to call me back within 30 minutes twice now and I'm still waiting. Really bad customer service and I started at 730 this morning

  • audiophilia Anthony Kershaw (@audiophilia) reported from View Royal, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport @TELUS thx Dave in Tech Support (via phone). The hour long hold was worth it. Total professional and very effective. Did he know his stuff! 👍👍

  • tysoup Ty_soup (@tysoup) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

@telusmobility so glad I spent my entire 30 minute lunch on hold with you.. had to hang up as I got to go back to work (something your staff apparently doesn’t do) simple question with 0 answers available online for it.. ppl say I shld leave TELUS, considering it now

  • suestroud Sue Stroud she/her 🍊❤️💪🏼 (@suestroud) reported from Central Saanich, British Columbia

@mackenzie_moira @unionwill @TELUS Even without the pandemic, for the amount the gouge from us service should be far better whether phone, tv, internet etc.

  • RealNealDeal H. Neal Cropper (@RealNealDeal) reported from Metchosin, British Columbia

@dewolfe001 @TELUS I really wanted to switch to Telus but everyone I spoke with was so inept I ended up staying with Shaw and their substandard service. I just couldn't imagine having to deal with them as a customer when discussing switching and becoming a customer was so very bad.

  • RevheidiK Revheidi Koschzeck (@RevheidiK) reported from Langford, British Columbia

How is it the Province's fault that a million people couldn't follow simple instructions and wait to call for a vaccination until it was their turn? Not having a callback queue was definitely a big mistake which I hope Telus will fix. #blamegame #CommonSense

  • RealNealDeal H. Neal Cropper (@RealNealDeal) reported from Metchosin, British Columbia

@p_barbeau @TuraEmanuela @DrKathleenRoss1 Sorry, I have to ask. How does Telus get away with charging service fees to access longitudinal care then? I don't get how they're allowed to do what doctors cannot.

  • Tamjam3z Tam Jam💲 (@Tamjam3z) reported from Esquimalt, British Columbia

Why ******** does telus keep calling me at 745pm every night and hanging up? Get real.

  • GordieLogan Fully Vaxed Gordie Logan (@GordieLogan) reported from Langford, British Columbia

Oh @TELUS, as a 30yr+ customer, I’ve never been so frustrated. I just had my appt for tomorrow cancelled. All because fiber hasn’t been run to the house yet. This is after an appt last week was cancelled for the same reason. Plz note, I made last weeks appt a month ago.

  • bellasugarsega Jody Klassen (@bellasugarsega) reported from Langford, British Columbia

I was a @Shawhelp customer for 5 years, until today. Cancelling my service and going with Telus instead. Don’t use this company for internet services, all you’ll have is regrets and ****** hardware.

  • brandonscript Brandon Rylow (@brandonscript) reported from Saanich, British Columbia

I didn’t cost Rogers a dime in staffing in the last 12 months, and I’ve been a pretty easy going customer for 15 years. I’m done though. I’m done being their customer. I want a cell phone plan with a company that isn’t this despicable, but sadly Telus and Bell are on that list.

  • hellonature Reg Brick (@hellonature) reported from Colwood, British Columbia

@BridgieCasey @TELUS Block them. They are a horrible money loving, aggressive company w **** customer service.

  • suestroud Sue Stroud she/her 🍊❤️💪🏼 (@suestroud) reported from Central Saanich, British Columbia

@PeninsulaNews Who cares? We already know as daily consumers how bad Telus is. They apologized. BCLibs need to find something useful to do.

  • JRossfamilymed Jennifer Ross (@JRossfamilymed) reported from Prospect Lake, British Columbia

@DrRitaMc @cpsbc_ca @BCFamilyDoctors Hahahahha is that us after death? Maybe that is a new service telus health could offer? Communication with the dead doctor?

  • Cheri_L_S Cheri S (@Cheri_L_S) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

Telus has made 0 attempt to contact me about my TV taking longer than the "few weeks" promised when I signed up 16 wks ago. I was told weeks ago there was a Covid related delay & that someone would contact me. No contact. No stock problems @ Bestbuy. Where is my TV? @TELUSsupport

  • olyfilmgirl 🇨🇦🏳️‍🌈 Talia M. Wilson #GenXZeneca 🌈🇺🇸 (@olyfilmgirl) reported from Colwood, British Columbia

Switching back to Shaw for internet. Although Telus's website said our service wouldn't change, the guy Drew talked to said we could only get slower internet. So, just waiting for Shaw order to process. And who new self install was a thing?

  • zaxbux Zach (@zaxbux) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

Does anyone have any idea why some @Microsoft web properties (recently LinkedIn and Visual Studio Marketplace) randomly refuse connections? Appears to only be an issue on @Telus IPv6. Mobile data and IPv4 are not affected. 🤬🤯

  • sherryella77 West Coast Coco Mermaid 🧜🏾‍♀️ (@sherryella77) reported from Colwood, British Columbia

@MACIConventions @TELUSsupport 30+ mins. I wish. I had to hang up at 2 hours and 3 mins. No one ever answers. I sent a DM to them on Friday and it was just answered 5 mins ago with a “sorry we can’t assist you via social media but we encourage you to call Telus”. Such a freaking joke.

  • LloydMildon Lloyd Mildon (@LloydMildon) reported from Oak Bay, British Columbia

On my @TELUS optik TV I now have to watch ads before I am permitted to move on to the programming. This is horrible. I’m the customer. I’m the guy paying the bills. Just stop it, @telus. @telussupport

  • brandonscript Brandon ::1 (@brandonscript) reported from Victoria, British Columbia

@cohix Hmmm I had a pretty bad experience with them years ago, but if my choice is them or Telus idk!

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • johnefrancis John Francis 🌻🇨🇦🧡 (@johnefrancis) reported

@CraigShouldice @BrandonAmyot @austzw I have Videotron for mobile, in Barrhaven, it's run off Telus's equipment. Has been very good. Fixed internet is Bell Fibe (Business), can't remember it ever being down in 3y, except for about 1 day of the recent 10 day power outage. No complaint.

  • TheRealElaschuk Steve Elaschuk (@TheRealElaschuk) reported

@Limbictweets Telus recently removed the old copper wires that my original, self powered landline ran through and put it through the fiber line that my internet works on. If Telus goes down now so does my landline. landlines aren’t safe anymore either as the old systems are decommissioned.

  • Hollymcc3 Holly 🇨🇦 ⏳ (@Hollymcc3) reported

@fabulavancouver My landline is worth every penny… don’t forget Telus had their own problems several years back. They changed their server to Google which has been the biggest frustration -notwithstanding that when signed into Telus through Google-not allowed on Google Maps.

  • RdLessTrvled 🔸Dahlia Woods🔸 (@RdLessTrvled) reported

@canadianrebel87 Too bad Telus is ***-*** too...

  • pauladanyliw Paula Danyliw (@pauladanyliw) reported

@cgbrads @nowtoronto Been with Bell for 20 years and never had a problem, when we moved to the country we had Telus and it wouldn’t work where we lived as there were no towers here, switched to bell and have never had an issue

  • TanyaMacLeod12 Tanya MacLeod (@TanyaMacLeod12) reported

@TomCrinstam @TexTexington @INTERAC In some rural areas and in the territories there is usually only one provider available for internet/phone service. It really is a monopoly with Telus, bell Canada/aliant, and Rogers.

  • John88815261 John (@John88815261) reported

@motojax1 Rogers is the worst, glad I'm with Telus

  • Ansovald Tibalt Ablaze. (@Ansovald) reported

@LAURIEVANCOUVER @TELUS @Rogers Telus has a more reliable network the rogers will ever have. Didn't have one issue yesterday unlike... oh wait you wouldn't know as you had literally no service.

  • JonathanJaitly Jonathan (@JonathanJaitly) reported

@RogersHelps This is a great reason to switch to Bell or Telus. Rogers infrastructure is horrible in terms of reliability, management and commitment to quality. What is this, the third time in 5 years Rogers has had a major outage? Telus and Bell at 0 in the same time frame.

  • Motomom128302 Motomom (@Motomom128302) reported

    @Pinkpanther801 I’ve been with Telus since cell phones came out… 😬…. **** I’m old
