Sue Stroud she/her 🍊❤️💪🏼 (@suestroud) reported from Central Saanich, British Columbia@PeninsulaNews Who cares? We already know as daily consumers how bad Telus is. They apologized. BCLibs need to find something useful to do.

H. Neal Cropper (@RealNealDeal) reported from Metchosin, British Columbia@dewolfe001 @TELUS I really wanted to switch to Telus but everyone I spoke with was so inept I ended up staying with Shaw and their substandard service. I just couldn't imagine having to deal with them as a customer when discussing switching and becoming a customer was so very bad.
-
Jody Klassen (@bellasugarsega) reported from Langford, British ColumbiaI was a @Shawhelp customer for 5 years, until today. Cancelling my service and going with Telus instead. Don’t use this company for internet services, all you’ll have is regrets and ****** hardware.
-
🇨🇦🏳️🌈 Talia M. Wilson #GenXZeneca 🌈🇺🇸 (@olyfilmgirl) reported from Colwood, British ColumbiaSwitching back to Shaw for internet. Although Telus's website said our service wouldn't change, the guy Drew talked to said we could only get slower internet. So, just waiting for Shaw order to process. And who new self install was a thing?
-
Fully Vaxed Gordie Logan (@GordieLogan) reported from Langford, British ColumbiaOh @TELUS, as a 30yr+ customer, I’ve never been so frustrated. I just had my appt for tomorrow cancelled. All because fiber hasn’t been run to the house yet. This is after an appt last week was cancelled for the same reason. Plz note, I made last weeks appt a month ago.

Anthony Kershaw (@audiophilia) reported from View Royal, British Columbia@TELUSsupport @TELUS thx Dave in Tech Support (via phone). The hour long hold was worth it. Total professional and very effective. Did he know his stuff! 👍👍
-
Zach (@zaxbux) reported from Victoria, British ColumbiaDoes anyone have any idea why some @Microsoft web properties (recently LinkedIn and Visual Studio Marketplace) randomly refuse connections? Appears to only be an issue on @Telus IPv6. Mobile data and IPv4 are not affected. 🤬🤯
-
West Coast Coco Mermaid 🧜🏾♀️ (@sherryella77) reported from Colwood, British Columbia@MACIConventions @TELUSsupport 30+ mins. I wish. I had to hang up at 2 hours and 3 mins. No one ever answers. I sent a DM to them on Friday and it was just answered 5 mins ago with a “sorry we can’t assist you via social media but we encourage you to call Telus”. Such a freaking joke.
-
Sue Stroud she/her 🍊❤️💪🏼 (@suestroud) reported from Central Saanich, British Columbia@mackenzie_moira @unionwill @TELUS Even without the pandemic, for the amount the gouge from us service should be far better whether phone, tv, internet etc.
-
Tesla Tours (@tesla_tours) reported from Victoria, British Columbia@EmmaCParston @Google People complain that high quality electronic products by companies like Apple and Tesla are overpriced until they waste valuable time on the alternatives. For my part, I’m wishing I’d stayed with Fido & Shaw instead of getting duped into Telus’ marketing-first service-last model
-
Christiane Sadeler (@ChrisSadeler) reported from Saanich, British Columbia@TELUS you may want to check Twitter for comments on @koodo. Or check the @koodo community board. A lot of upset people for terrible service. One more try from me to get the money due to me and my next move is CRTC. #unbelievable corporate arrogance and inaptitude.

Brandon Rylow (@brandonscript) reported from Saanich, British ColumbiaI didn’t cost Rogers a dime in staffing in the last 12 months, and I’ve been a pretty easy going customer for 15 years. I’m done though. I’m done being their customer. I want a cell phone plan with a company that isn’t this despicable, but sadly Telus and Bell are on that list.
-
Reg Brick (@hellonature) reported from Colwood, British Columbia@BridgieCasey @TELUS Block them. They are a horrible money loving, aggressive company w **** customer service.
-

-
Brent Smithurst (@brentsmi) reported from Colwood, British ColumbiaAll I want for Christmas is more than one bar (at best) of cel service in Royal Bay. Get it together, @TELUS /@Bell. I’ll switch to @rogers if they’ll do something about this. 2.5 years of this is ridiculous!

Pink Isntwell (@PinkIsntwell1) reported@CTVNews Fk @Rogers . Everyone who deals with them should cancel all their services and switch to @TELUS. It's better service and it's cheaper
-
Joey Hansen (@joeydhansen) reported@tylerpaduraru @Prominent_Bryan @TELUSsupport Have had to deal with their customer service and tech support a couple of times in the last year and it's been absolute trash. A few years ago, I thought Telus had good customer service. Outsourcing it to AI has made it terrible.
-
Kirk Miller (@KirkMiller47849) reported@TheRiversEdgeAB Moved to an acreage in 2024...got starlink as no other option Everything about it is vastly superior to the service thru either telus or shaw. Like not even close

Ser ouanling, altcoindawg - ตกงาน life. (@ouanling) reported@cremieuxrecueil I work in group retirement savings. When I was a phone agent most of my calls was about withdrawals. 90% of official complaints was 50 or 60yos with 50k to 80k ( CAD so worthless) trying to scam their way out of a locked in plan. For total garbage like I wanna renovate a bedroom. We handle Telus which is the biggest Télécom, lots of cash. These fking retards making 120k+ get laid off and they call the next day to unlock their locked in plan for financial difficulty. If they manage, the gov will totally rek them because u need projected 30k or less for 12 months. Even if these guys don't work the rest of the year, they're already over. Or we had constantly people retiring early and they'd take out 5k a day to pay only 10% tax. Some up to 100k. Like Jesus retard you're gonna have to pay 40k at tax season. I handle the security now and I see these types every single day.
-
bijboutique (@bijboutique1) reported@TELUSsupport @TELUS your tech support is GARBAGE! Refusal to fix my service. Trying to FORCE ME to buy fiber optic. **** OFF I AM NOT BUYING FIBER OPTIC. COME FIX MY LAWN FIRST!
-
millennialinvestor (@millennialinv16) reported@raygaurca I've never seen anyone hold over 500k of Telus. Not sure whether the be impressed or concerned 🤔

Finn Stockinger (@FinnStockinger) reportedIs the telecom sector about to trigger a massive investment supercycle? Nokia ($NOK) just dropped a bombshell by launching the industry’s first AI-native RAN platform, but this isn't just another isolated corporate press release. Yesterday's Q2 2026 earnings from Ericsson ($ERIC) and rapid shifts from major network operators confirm that the global telecom infrastructure Capex is undergoing a historic transformation. The smart money is quietly connecting some highly lucrative, asymmetric dots. 👇 1. What is AI-RAN & Why Does It Matter? Traditional Radio Access Networks (RAN) rely on incredibly expensive, rigid, proprietary hardware. AI-RAN virtualizes this entire architecture into software. Cell towers essentially become agile, edge-computing micro-datacenters. The hardware doesn't just route your calls; it processes AI workloads on the fly. The mastermind behind this is NVIDIA ($NVDA) and the AI-RAN Alliance (which unites NVIDIA, Nokia, Ericsson, SoftBank, and T-Mobile). Their goal? Push GPU-accelerated computing into every base station. Nokia claims this software-led, accelerated shift will boost spectral efficiency by 20% immediately, with a roadmap to >100% by 2028. For debt-laden operators, this means doubling network capacity without buying more multi-billion-dollar spectrum or replacing physical towers. 2. From Slides to Capex: What Ericsson's Q2 Earnings Just Confirmed We are officially moving past the "proof of concept" phase. Just yesterday, during Ericsson’s Q2 earnings call, outgoing CEO Börje Ekholm explicitly stated: "The next phase of AI is going to benefit our industry quite substantially... especially as physical AI develops." To fund this massive transition and offset inflationary hardware parts, Ericsson is actively raising prices on legacy contracts, paving the way for AI-RAN standard deployments. Global tier-1 carriers are already jumping in: > SK Telecom $SKM (South Korea) is launching a massive national AI-RAN pilot to test real-world physical AI applications (like automated factory robots and drone sensing). > T-Mobile US has partnered with NVIDIA, Ericsson, and Nokia to launch a Joint AI-RAN Innovation Center to standardize this tech in the US. > Telus (Canada) is deploying AI-powered network controllers to optimize spectral efficiency and slash tower power consumption. 3. The Derivative Play: AmpliTech ($AMPG) Nokia, Ericsson, and NVIDIA are massive, slow-moving ships. To find true market asymmetry, smart money looks for niche, highly-certified hardware enablers. To run software-heavy, GPU-driven AI-RAN, you still need highly advanced, open-standard (O-RAN) hardware on the ground to handle the high-frequency radio waves. Enter AmpliTech Group ($AMPG), a US-designed micro-cap manufacturing high-performance 64T64R Massive MIMO radios. In his latest discussions with Maxim Group (following up on my yesterday's post), the CEO highlighted a major strategic pivot that flipped the script for shareholders: > ATM Canceled: Completely terminating their dilutive at-the-market equity sales facility. > $10M Buyback: Launching a massive $10M stock repurchase program funded entirely by cash on hand, signaling to Wall Street that management believes the stock is heavily undervalued. > Strong Fundamentals: This move is backed by stellar Q1 results - revenue surged 48.6% YoY to $5.35M, while gross margins skyrocketed to 48% (up from 33% last year). As one of the very few US-designed, O-RAN certified hardware providers with a clean balance sheet, they are uniquely positioned to capture domestic infrastructure contracts as US telcos upgrade to GPU-accelerated AI-RAN architecture. Summary When giants like NVIDIA, Nokia, Ericsson, SK Telecom, and Telus validate a trend, the hardware supply chain wins first. AI-RAN is setting up to be one of the most under-the-radar infrastructure plays of late 2026. Are you sticking to legacy giants, or hunting for asymmetric risk-reward in the micro-cap space?
