Joseph Valenti (@BrokrBindr) reported from Beaconsfield, Quebec@DisneyStudiosCA I paid for a subscription today for my residence in Montreal. My ISP (Cronomagic) is a reseller for one of the major ISPs (Videotron). Disney+ is blocking me, identifying my IP address as "outside of Canada", which it is not (!). No service unless my cellular data. Not happy!

LibertyDragonette (@LostLunatic2) reported@mrenner_schultz @RichardAubrey11 @Starlink Ah shut up! All the internet service does. Bell Canada, Videotron... they all do. If you have a phone, they spies on you with your data. I don't care, I have nothing to hide. I'm doing nothing illegal.

Derek Kilian (@DerekJKilian) reported@Videotron I guess they still can’t do math… With all the people without service I CANNOT believe them. How do they calculate their efficiency? Je crois qu’ils ne savent pas calculer… Avec toutes les personnes qui n’ont pas de services, je ne les CROIS PLUS!
-
François Bousquet (@Bousquetteries) reported@Videotron Honestly if your plan is to work on the network starting at 9:30PM, you could at least have the decency to apologize to your customers before doing it!
-
Yves (In Memory) & Sylvia. G. (@girouard108) reported@alphalink @TartanTragic @FringeViews Nice. Mine is still the original from when the house was built 1931. Have to use Videotron, but I will NEVER get rid of it. Ditched my cell & never will own another. I do not care how difficult they make it, for me. Cheers neighbor !

Bri 💖🏳️⚧️ (@tgirliebri) reportedAnd all 3 also operate under their own names So you got a total of 9 different carriers, but in reality it's actually 3 Videotron, Freedom, and Sasktel are the only independent cell providers in Canada There was MTS (Manitoba Telecom Service) but Bell took them over in 2017
-
Alex Clark (@alxclrk) reportedI'm on a train from Toronto to Montreal, and I can't believe we can't get reliable internet for the entire trip with VIA Rail. Onboard wifi dropping constantly and even Videotron's network has terrible coverage over the entire ride. Really wish they could use Starlink somehow.

Steven (@clogicca) reported@SBHSNGL @Videotron duh .. EVERY ape pays for it .. doesn't change the fact that attitude doesn't fix anything
-
Francis Taquin (@FrancisTaquin1) reported" Videotron warns: “When 3G is shut down, you will no longer be able to call 911 if you use a mobile phone or a SIM card that is not VoLTE compatible. This is already the case when you are travelling in the United States.” How to check your phone Freedom Mobile recommends dialing #TEST (#8378). If the call goes through, your phone is VoLTE-ready. If it doesn’t, you’ll need a newer phone and SIM card to stay connected. "
