  • TbiglowTricia Mum, westie Annie, Oakley (cat and boss); (@TbiglowTricia) reported from Georgina, Ontario

@Rogers Shame on you….to add to our anger at the outage, someone on your team thought it would be good to reach out to me to see how I liked my services & tell me what “offers” you have for me. Interesting that the only “offer” you had would cost me $10 more!! Despicable 🤬

  • bender_077 Pascal Brunet (@bender_077) reported from Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario

Hey @RogersHelps , any idea when service will be restored in Stouffville, Ontario? It’s been 48 hrs. And your automated « support » bot is saying everything is good - reboot your modem… (tweeting from my BELL cel phone)

  • OliverC45902965 Oliver Chen (@OliverC45902965) reported from Newmarket, Ontario

@RogersHelps @rogers rogers ignite user. Is there a service disruption in Newmarket ON. L3X . We have no internet. And unable to reboot modem.

  • torimyles Tori Myles (@torimyles) reported from Georgina, Ontario

@RogersHelps what a joke. I’m on hold an hour now. Called to cancel services & they said I have to do it thru customer retention. Obviously they don’t need or want my $600 a month. As they still have me on hold. Always zero customer service with Rogers.

  • mindylouu_ Mindy Louu (@mindylouu_) reported from Georgina, Ontario

First game into @ZLeaguegg tournament and my @Rogers cuts out. It hasn’t been the same since the first outage. My phone works but Wi-Fi is completely gone. #rogersoutage currently OUTRAGED

  • jrlbenedict Jarrel Benedict (@jrlbenedict) reported from Newmarket, Ontario

There’s no home internet again, @RogersHelps. At this point, Rogers should be paying me. They charge exorbitant fees for awful services! It’s time the CRTC look into the big three telecommunications companies.

  • instigayter helen hayter (@instigayter) reported from Innisfil, Ontario

Seriously @RogersHelps . Down again? This better not be another 12 hour outage.

  • torimyles Tori Myles (@torimyles) reported from Georgina, Ontario

@RogersHelps I’m on hold and literally have been for hours. Spoke to someone earlier that upgraded my channel package. Now I don’t get my fave channels anymore. Unable to fix online. Called back on. On hold another hour. Only to be transferred again. Currently on hold another 90m

  • CGlease Chris Gleason (@CGlease) reported from Newmarket, Ontario

@RogersHelps is service down in Newmarket

  • jrlbenedict Jarrel Benedict (@jrlbenedict) reported from Newmarket, Ontario

What in the actual hell, @RogersHelps @Rogers. There’s no internet again. This is the fourth time in the span of a week. That 5-day bill credit that we’re getting for the outage before now needs to be a whole month credit because of the unreliability!!!

  • Shannon98569567 Shannon (@Shannon98569567) reported from Georgina, Ontario

@RogersHelps What the heck happened to cause such an outage?

  • jrlbenedict Jarrel Benedict (@jrlbenedict) reported from Newmarket, Ontario

No internet again. This has happened 8 days in the past 30 days. @Rogers @RogersHelps I expect my bill to be a quarter lower because I didn’t have service for more than a week. This is disgusting and the @CRTCeng needs to investigate your horrible service.

  • torimyles Tori Myles (@torimyles) reported from Georgina, Ontario

@RogersHelps I have been trying to get help with my ignite flex for over a month. Still cannot swap my channels. Please cancel all and just leave basic cable. I don’t have more hours to put on hold trying to get help. Too frustrating

  • jafarmirsalari jafarmirsalari #DeleteUber #deletelyft (@jafarmirsalari) reported from Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • kgj011783 Ken Johns (@kgj011783) reported

@Rogers you need to fix your system. Tired of being told that I'm eligible to finance a phone with zero down only to find out you want me to buy it outright. Not very good customer service if you ask me and none of your agents will help.

  • CircularLogic89 CircularLogic (@CircularLogic89) reported

@BuNdOAVFC @RogersHelps It should also be noted that cellular bandwidth is finite. That is, if there are many customers in the area with same service, they all share the same bandwidth which usually results in slower speeds

  • ColonelAngus17 Colonel Angus 💜 (@ColonelAngus17) reported

@7N7420 @Rogers I could certainly. I would rather see them have to forfeit the entire month's bill if they fail to provide service.

  • KatyChancey Katy (@KatyChancey) reported

Hey, @RogersHelps, my home internet is down. Rebooted modem twice, no bueno. Any know outages in Ottawa?

  • CircularLogic89 CircularLogic (@CircularLogic89) reported

@BuNdOAVFC @RogersHelps While higher freq have greater bandwidth, they don't travel as far nor penetrate as well as lower freq (ie 700MHz). So it would be more susceptible to interference, like trees or buildings. Unfortunately, it may not be a solution for every situation

  • GregMor11522784 Greg Morrison (@GregMor11522784) reported

@RogersHelps Got this new ignite just crap the cable modem we had worked much better now with ignite we keep loosing connection on the computer and tv and cell phone when 15 feet from the new modem now i am told i need a booster oh yea and want to charge for it i think its time to shop around

  • sugarbaby4remy future executive chef (@sugarbaby4remy) reported

@RogersHelps is your internet down in durham? no connection for 3 hours now

  • BuNdOAVFC BuNdO AVFC (@BuNdOAVFC) reported

@RogersHelps Please Understand that my connection sucks and your ace technician passed this install under 1MBPS

  • tanyahayles tanya hayles (@tanyahayles) reported

Unsure why random devices are on my wifi network @RogersHelps. And it won’t let me delete it either. I just did a sweep of a whole bunch. WTF.

  • CircularLogic89 CircularLogic (@CircularLogic89) reported

@BuNdOAVFC @RogersHelps Their Wireless Home Internet is based on sending/receiving signals from cellular towers. It would be limited by the same issues which cause interference for radiowaves. There are many factors which can affect cellular reception. Not sure what freq they use, but Bell uses 3500 MHz
