Turns out the @Rogers outage was a cyber attack. And ransom demand. Their insurer paid $92 million in ransom to unlock the hold over their systems.

  • JosiahHughes02 Josiah Hughes (@JosiahHughes02) reported from Brampton, Ontario

Dissolve @RogersHelps and @Bell_LetsTalk NOW before another Maintenance Failure shuts down a large portion of the country. Not too mention the real competition it would bring to Canadian cellular markets, not just our current set up of flanker brands. #FuckRogers

  • Pjhvan Peter Hickman 🏳️‍🌈🇨🇦 (@Pjhvan) reported

@Dean_Winnipeg @CailinasEirinn And still not fully restored .. lots of outages all over metro Vancouver today and intermittent service everywhere … @Rogers says restored that’s a lie … #BreakUpRogers

  • KathieC094 💙⚾️ Kat ⚾️💙 (@KathieC094) reported

@RogersHelps My ignite tv still isn't working. It freezes, skips ahead and loses sounds at least once a minute and I can't access my recordings either. It just asks if I want to delete it. I know there are worse problems but it's a service I pay for and haven't had for 3 days

  • PalmerLeigh Leigh Palmer (@PalmerLeigh) reported

@Rogers how about a gift of some data.the credit for lost service is a drop in the bucket for what it cost or meant to most of your customers. $10-$15,if it’s even going to be that much is hardly enough. Why not take the high road of customer service and give us 5-10 GB of data?

  • goochmaster69 OOGA BOOGA (@goochmaster69) reported
