@adymitruk @Shawhelp cable technology is limited they can't provide symmetrical speed and shaw is the worst provider price/bandwidth wise in Canada.

  • mykeymause
Moke (@mykeymause) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia

Honestly, Telus sending me an email saying “you’re on the best network in town - way better than @ShawInfo/@FreedomMobile’s” makes me want to switch from Telus... attack ads, wtf?

  • sophiestraith
Sophie Straith (@sophiestraith) reported from Westmount, British Columbia

Love sitting at home for 4 hours while we wait for @Shawhelp to show up but then they call to cancel. Now we’re out of service until Sunday 👺

  • TomGautreau
Thomas Gautreau (@TomGautreau) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Dealt with Shaw for forty yrs and thought would give Telus a try on a new service. BIG MISTAKE ! Mon. I called C/ S they told me they would call me in 48 hours or less to deal with problem. No call. @TELUS @Shawhelp Telus customer service offshore. Shaw is in Canada.

  • Jones_NS99
Curtis (@Jones_NS99) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia

@Shawhelp I do not normally escalate these things, but I am floored by the absurdity of what I just experienced on behalf of a family member, who has been a loyal customer for 40 years. I will DM, but honestly, you need to do better.

  • Indi_pops
India Barnardo (@Indi_pops) reported from Westmount, British Columbia

@Shawhelp hi! Our power was out yesterday and when it came back on last night the internet never came back, it's still not able to connect this morning in West Vancouver. Are there any ETA's on this? Thanks so much!

  • Andiecamille
Andie Stewart (@Andiecamille) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@ShawInfo since my contract ran out, my bill has been increasing MONTHLY. I spoke to an agent and was told that my charges could change month to month unless I sign a contract. As a customer of over 25 years, this is a brutal way to treat your existing clients. #extortion 🤬

  • phoenix45photo
Norm (@phoenix45photo) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia

@Shawhelp I sent a DM last evening at 6pm about my cable not working, I have not heard back ...

  • PaulDoroshenko
Prairie Paul (@PaulDoroshenko) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Every time I contact @ShawInfo to have some service or set up, every single time they screw it up. And again today. More competition would be better than less.

  • MsYouDoYou
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

I hope @ShawInfo plans to pay for this day of lost work and explain to my staff why payroll is delayed because this is some insane bullshit. Also, when you have a recorded message about an outage, your website shouldn’t say “good news! No outages!”

  • falskow
Chris Falskow (@falskow) reported from Delta, British Columbia

@Eastlink @EastlinkSupport Hey @Shawhelp I hope you’re paying attention here. We could really use your service in North Delta!

  • AliceTheAlice1
Alice, The Alice (@AliceTheAlice1) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@GraemeFreeman @ShawInfo You would not trust an ISP with your home network so it's not like that's too much of a concern. I cannot imagine ever operating my home network via an ISP's Modem's router features.

  • tracyglennYVR
Tracy ترايسي (@tracyglennYVR) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@ShawInfo Internet down on Halston Court, Burnaby. Is there an issue?

  • PeterMeiszner
Peter Meiszner (@PeterMeiszner) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Is @Novusnow down AGAIN for anyone else in Yaletown? Super frustrating- second time in a month. Going to have to seriously consider switching to @TELUS or @Shawhelp - major problem when you’re working from home.

  • Jones_NS99
Curtis (@Jones_NS99) reported from North Vancouver, British Columbia

Hey @Shawhelp your agent just disconnected us after offering a retention plan that was more than what your website quotes new customers. This is after 3 weeks of disrupted service. What is going on over there?

  • G_ABALI_S
ABALI (@G_ABALI_S) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

I change my internet provider Telus to Shaw on the 15 Feb 2020. Shaw said we fill a form and send it on the 24 Feb 2020, but the Telus said there is no request from Shaw. @Shawhelp @ShawInfo @TELUS . Please talk to each other guys I need a solution. It is your miscommunication.

PSA: Filed a CCTS complaint against @Rogers & Shaw (@ShawInfo) today. Shaw/Rogers has stated that their internet infrastructure in my community is unable to provide the 2Gbps download speeds during peak times. 50% to 70% bandwidth loss in peak times. But charging people for it.

  • Danrek77
    Dave (@Danrek77) reported

@Shawhelp No timeline, no email confirmation, and I’m not a new customer. I’m being billed for 2 gigabit now, without the hardware for it. I am hesitant to send this beat up box back without knowing I will be getting hardware to actually use the service

  • MaryPChipman

@Shawhelp But it's time consuming, the TV settings show our WiFi signal is strong & everything else in the house works, so why should I? It's just the tech concept is faulty.
