Kevin (@604kev) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia@RogersHelps you're claiming service has been restored, but I cannot receive SMS messages. As a result, I cannot log into my bank because @TD_Canada solely supports SMS MFA (which is also a joke). When will your services be fully restored including SMS? Thanks.

Jeffery Simpson (@JefferySimpson) reported from White Rock, British ColumbiaI worked in sales and CS for @Rogers for 10 years. It wasn’t my favourite job but I knew who I worked for, didn’t have to scam people and people understood what they were buying. Yes I sold phones to people I knew but I never had to pressure people into selling phones for me.

Rogers Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Jennifer Leigh (@WriteLinesInk) reported@RogersHelps And it's connecting families God damn it. Not connect 4 success. No wonder U can't report my participation. You as a company think you walk on water and create your own rules and your own programs and damn the torpedoes and Full Speed Ahead. You don't give a flying who to reality
-
chris (@whiteboywork) reported@Rogers yall are so rude can't even reply ... greedy company
-
Kaykay (@kskytte) reported@RogersHelps I spent the last 2 hours without internet, checked online, no outage listed. Contacted the chat and they couldn’t tell me if there was an outage and to call back during business hours. Suddenly internet is back, sounds like an outage to me. So frustrating.
-
John Tzanetakis (@yianis) reported@Rogers C'mon ... Do Better!! You should have 24hr support ... this isn't a 9 to 5 job!! Fix this issue!!
-
Joey Chaves (@joey_chaves) reported@Rogers how many times do I have to tell your sales ppl who come to my door everyday in the last two weeks sometimes between 9-10pm I do not want your service. This is harassment
-
Jennifer Leigh (@WriteLinesInk) reported@RogersHelps Not the point. You have so much money and you pay off small portion for It and social media people. It's not your customer's job to police your contact information. Your people should hunt this stuff down and get it taken off the internet. Just another instance of carelessness
-
RichardYanker2U (@drinklotsofh2o) reported@LoveMy7Wood @RogersHelps Every time I would call Rogers I would start the call by saying “pass me through to customer retention because that’s where I’ll end up anyway”.
-
Love My 7 Wood (@LoveMy7Wood) reportedIf you are considering (or have to due to equipment failure like me) switching from Ignite to Xfinity on @Rogers here are some things to be aware of that they do not tell you before, during or after the transition. First, a new account will be opened, independent of your previous account, and unless you call and close your previous account, you will be double billed. Second, nobody will ask you for your credit card and it won’t be transitioned from your old account so unless you go online and add it, in a month you will be getting nasty notices. Three, if you have streaming services like Crave that you buy through Rogers it will not be transferred to your new account automatically. You must call to get it added. Fourth, expect at least one of the Xfinity boxes not to work properly. I’ve done the transition now at my cottage and home and multiple service visits and equipment replacements may be necessary. Fifth, if you have Rogers/ Yahoo email or Finance accounts they don’t automatically transition and multiple phone calls may be necessary and it may take the knowledge of a supervisor to get them going again. And sixth, Rogers goes out of its way to make speaking to an actual human being virtually impossible and you have to fight with AI and may be lucky and get through to someone in a few minutes or, like me, you can waste hours and hours on hold. And finally, they are going to email you a survey on how they did. Don’t fill it in right away. Wait a few days to make sure things work and work as they should. Good luck!
-
WoodsWhisperer (@WoodsW) reported@Berniceness @Rogers I see these tweets and it makes me feel sooo warm and fuzzy that I cancelled everything I had with Rogers 3years ago. I went from a gouging $200/mth rogers contract to a $40/cell phone and $200/yr TV service. Just calculate those savings! You can do it too!!
-
Chelle (@traaashpanda) reportedIt’s wild to me that @Fidomobile, which is essentially @Rogers doesn’t have customer service on a Sunday? They’ll let you sign up for their services but if something goes wrong … get ****** :) No ported phone number means no calls. No text. No 2FA.
