  • JNcustoms John Duong Nguyen(“Anu RA”) (@JNcustoms) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@NortonSoft Telus is compromised got hijack for my pin before even getting to use it. Neighbor has access to my phone now posing as me wtf. Please advise...“HA!”©™Deploy&Desist.N0W

  • robbahd Rob Bahd (@robbahd) reported from Delta, British Columbia

@RobShaw_BC @VaughnPalmer @TELUS So these call center agents are Telus employees? Adding agents to answer over a million calls is not going to solve the problem. A supplementary online system would have helped.

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@casper5803 @richardzussman @TELUS where are they getting these agents so quickly? Great if they actually can, however, the reality remains where are they getting them & why werent they deployed yesterday when it became obvious their ineptitude was creating huge issues?

  • mattcolangelo Matt Colangelo (@mattcolangelo) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@telus our internet speed has been operating like it’s 1998. You have put us 23 years into the past. We have called your disgraceful support 4 times and have waited on hold for close to 5 hours only to receive support from humans with no solution. When are you going to fix it?

  • VancitySaggu Vik Saggu (@VancitySaggu) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@FlossYourTooth Wtf what’s this on Telus?

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

And yes. They customer service people are delightful and always eager to help. I love @TELUSsupport . But their job is made harder by unusable systems. I’ve put hours and hours and hours into trying to keep Telus as a provider but I it’s time to leave the abusive relationship.

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Bzubyk We all know it’s drivel damage control written by a PR hack. What it didn’t say was how they were going to remedy to situation. Probably because that cost $ & everyone knows @Telus is loathe to spend $ on much but virtue signalling PR campaigns.

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@richardzussman @TELUS couldn’t organize its way out of one car parade. A truly horrid company. It’s no wonder this clown show was a failure. The govt should’ve known how bad Telus was before allowing them to undertake the task. It’s no wonder it failed. Relying on Telus is abysmal organization

  • JNcustoms John_D_Nguyen(one tru Anu RA) (@JNcustoms) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@TELUS your Surrey internet connection provider is compromised, filing a privacy breach lawsuit against you **** 3 times no I’ve raised the issue of my accounts bein hacked 3 times being hung up on 3 times you’ll feel my disapproval of unsecured services provided to public.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@DaveBeFit @TELUS @Shawhelp We don’t/can’t get fibre so they aren’t that motivated to help.

  • ProfLalonde Patrick C. Lalonde (@ProfLalonde) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia

@reporteremma Telus, Bell, and Rogers played these games in Windsor, Ontario (where I formerly lived) for years. The only solution I found was them adding a note / rule on my account that I wasn’t liable for roaming in Michigan. But it’s annoying having to call to back out charges. Frustrating

  • mmgreid Mark the Teacher (@mmgreid) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@CBCStephenQuinn just last week I had another awful call with @TELUS over the the 50% hike in my monthly home services bill. Loyalty discounts just don’t exist in the #telecom sector and they REALLY should.

  • njfavengers Nicholas John Ellan (@njfavengers) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Hey @Translink it's way past time we got indigenous place names going on some of these SkyTrain stations. Like Patterson? Braid? "Main St Science World"??? A) it's the Telus World of Science these days B) we don't need you to tell us it's on main st C) **** colonialism in the ear

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

It’s a refreshing change from weeks of condescending ineptitude from Telus technicians to have a Shaw person here who seems to know what a network cable is.

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@keithbaldrey If youve ever had to deal with @Telus you’d know this fiasco is par for the course. On a good day Telus is in a tight battle for one of the worst customer service, unresponsive, bureaucratic co’s in the country, on a bad day you get what happened.

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@PaulDoroshenko Except @Telus is far from an expert at much of anything. Their reputation is horrid at most everything. Even their own employees acknowledge how bad they are.

  • BrandonCrowe97 Brandon Crowe *Burner (@BrandonCrowe97) reported from Pitt Meadows, British Columbia

@SamsungMobileCA @RogersHelps Pissed off fans are bad for business. Hey Rogers, remember a couple years ago when I left you? Then when I left Telus and came back 2 MOs ago? Hey Samsung, you ever heard of Huawei? Keep pissing off your Fan Edition base.......

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Bzubyk @TELUS If you’ve ever had an issue with this horrid Telcom, you’d understand how bureaucratic & truly Inept they actually are. This isn’t really all that surprising when you team an inept co with an obviously feckless bureaucracy

  • dave_pasin Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@keithbaldrey Good for @Telus to remedy the issue with the call centres and finding ppl to man the phones. Just curious why Telus can’t respond to actual customer concerns that quickly & remedy issues that arise. Funny how that works.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Telus knows as well as I do that I only have one other option for internet so they aren’t that motivated to provide technicians that can help with anything outside of plugging in a device. My husband had to troubleshoot for them last week.

Telus Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • JacobKelly56 Jake (@JacobKelly56) reported

@nmehrotra @wingkarli @jayfbabby Fido is by far the least bang for your buck carrier service. I'm honestly shocked they are still in business. Also owned by telus.

  • dani94106227 Dani (@dani94106227) reported

@Ryan_r_Williams I’ve paid astronomically high cell phone bills in the past. $170-200 range/month in the past. I switched to Koodo which uses the Telus network & get the same quality of service but for $55/month. There are options but you need to look for them.

  • playnicewithppl Eyebrows stay van Vleet (@playnicewithppl) reported

@Too_Much_Hoops Find a friend who pays for Shaw or Telus (or split a subscription with them) and use their login details

  • Samanth02264074 Samantha Johnson (@Samanth02264074) reported

Help being held prisoner by Telus again.

  • Lunchisnotfree Paulo (@Lunchisnotfree) reported

@globeandmail My understanding is they should not be charging if you use American Express since they are not part of the original lawsuit. Also if this charge is already baked into the price of service at @TELUS We as consumers should expect a 1.5% reducation in our service fees.

  • JoLawrence19 Jo Lawrence (@JoLawrence19) reported

A senior in my family got a suspicious e-mail they originally thought was from Koodo. Concerned that info had been compromised, tried to get help online and in store. No help was given! So disappointed. (Posting on Twitter as can’t find an actual person to talk to!) #koodo #telus

  • Kawartha411 Kawartha 411 (@Kawartha411) reported

So I cannot get the credit for the one I am trading. Total SCAM not to mention security risk!! I have been a Telus customer for 13 years!

  • CountryMusicEmo EMO LEBLANC™©® RECORDING ARTIST 🇺🇸 (@CountryMusicEmo) reported

@TELUSsupport terrible support with Telus. Need to change my plan and hours of wait times and no online support!
