  • PingRD Ross Derewianko (@PingRD) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

So @TELUS is doing a #purefiber upgrade in my building, they managed to knock @Novusnow down in half the building. When asked the techs stated "Novus must have a down fiber". I investigated and it turned out to be a loose ethernet cable...

  • LuvKimber Kim (@LuvKimber) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

So after another 58 minutes on the phone with @TELUS and 47 of that on hold…I get another technician sent to my House…but I have to wait another 4 days and no Manager from @TELUSsupport even bothered to pick up…is it just me?? Or does this happen to every long term customer???

  • PeterMeiszner Peter Meiszner (@PeterMeiszner) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Is @Novusnow down AGAIN for anyone else in Yaletown? Super frustrating- second time in a month. Going to have to seriously consider switching to @TELUS or @Shawhelp - major problem when you’re working from home.

  • RitchWorld RitchWorld (@RitchWorld) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia

Had a good talk with .@Shawhelp this weekend. After 20+ years of service, they played the greed game and didn’t want to talk. Called @TELUS and so happy to talk and worked a fabulous deal. father in law is happy as he will be saving $600/ year on home internet, cable and phone.

  • dharnid Dharni D (@dharnid) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@TELUS your internet plan offers are more expensive on your website than on the phone (customer service) . Why did you even spend money on a website? Could’ve saved than money and passed it on to the customers :)

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Every 3-days @telus calls me to ask for my husband and every 3-days I tell them to stop and also that we cancelled our home internet service when they refused to make it work at all so it’s a waste of sales time. Every time they say they made a note. Then are annoyed. Repeat.

  • bigfid25 Keith Fiddler (@bigfid25) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

    @drex @TELUS That sucks dude

  • trackwanderer mama bear (@trackwanderer) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

So glad we got DAZN for the singular reason that Telus has too many ridiculous problems.

  • ericapomme Erica Young (@ericapomme) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@TylerAnakotta @AlexTheGreatish @nicklmg You should be able to get Telus gigabit fibre, although we’re in kind of the same boat as Nick even with Telus—cuts out a few nights a month, but not with any reliability we can trace potential causes. Overall still good service for the price.

  • jamneria Jana Angela Neria (@jamneria) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@FidoSolutions We're okay thanks, we've gone to @TELUS after that horrible experience with you guys.

  • asianhabibti Karla كارلا جبيلي (she/her) (@asianhabibti) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Hassled 3 different customer service people from Telus on the phone for an hour and a half and got my monthly phone/cable/internet bill down $80. It pays to be a Pain In The ***.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Every week @TELUS calls my phone and asks for my husband and every week I tell them to call his number and every week they apologize and say ok and every week they forget and every week I hang up on them because every week I still don’t want their crappy internet service.

  • Gusslin Gustavo Lin | 林偉綸 (@Gusslin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Still having issues with @TELUS wireless

  • dianesbaker1 Diane S. Baker (@dianesbaker1) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Zpdoodaa Beginning of this thread, “I formed an off shore company….”. Why? As an American I assumed you work in the US. Off shore entities are created for tax avoidance purposes. TELUS is a network provider in western Canada. Have an off shore LLC used to allow a Chinese partner. Booted.

  • ntman__ Antman 🐜🐜 (@ntman__) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

@TELUS @TELUSsupport On Sunday your technicians were working outside my house and they disconnected the internet cables and now I don't have internet in my house, I call to your call center and they don't give me a solution, and I have to wait for a technician to go to my house..

  • Gusslin Gustavo Lin | 林偉綸 (@Gusslin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

  • camcavers Cam Cavers (@camcavers) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@wanless64 @gregeh I get discounts as a Telus contractor but honestly my ISP is cheaper and faster. 500mbps up/down for $65/month…

  • cleanrag ****&Span1745 (@cleanrag) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport 82 year old mom has relied on ADT for 20 years, Telus has left her vulnerable. 3 times this week I've called, 45 minutes of listening to telus ad after telus ad. Her landline & personal protection device is also with Telus 🙄 50 yr+ customer. We're looking for a new provider 👍

  • GDMK26 G (@GDMK26) reported

@amberkanwar @RBC No they are not answering ... @TELUS had me going for 3.5 hours on hold yesterday. I gave up and am hoping my problem goes away. Welcome to the new reality. Massive profits for financials and telcos, and zero service to us minions who boost their $.

  • JohnTho69652068 John Thomas (@JohnTho69652068) reported

Another example of Canadian Telecom rich companies. TELUS CEO Entwistle’s salary $1,375.000 + Compensation-$11,689.00 would never understand the telecom charges his company place on Canadians in general and the less fortunate. Maybe we could give poor Darren a bonus!

  • Gregair13 Greg, but voting for Summer 🇨🇦 (@Gregair13) reported

@carlycampkin89 I’ve found Telus by far the worst. Animated things that doesn’t work to then sit on hold for 45min to then talk to someone who can’t solve your problem to then restart from the beginning

  • CynthiaMD92 Cynthia (@CynthiaMD92) reported

@TELUSsupport Telus hasn’t even given the courtesy to their customers to let them know that the towers been down since February, it’s terrible service if we can get it and there’s no solution or end in sight.

  • RebelloRebecca Rebecca Rebello (@RebelloRebecca) reported

@TELUS & @TELUSsupport - I've been in contact with your customer support since May. Can you hold your subcontractors accountable to fix the poor installation job they did? #CustomerService #Accountability

  • frizzybob internet user (@frizzybob) reported

    @JamesTCanadian @TELUS I started with them, wayyyyy back. never returned. & won't.

  • SwayzeMusicRd Swayze Music (@SwayzeMusicRd) reported

okay so I live in a city of about 100,000 people. my cellular is with @bell and my wifi is with @TELUS . neither work worth a crap. im lucky to have one bar of mobile service from my house... in the city. My wifi barely works. These are supposed to be two of the best here. 😕 ok.

  • brahjette (@brahjette) reported

@koodo @TELUS how about instead of paying your marketing teams to send stupid “we’re helping” emails you pay for all of the canceled account debt that went to collections for the people who LOST THEIR JOBS during the pandemic/were disabled/had to take care of family #scammers

  • raghu_venugopal Raghu Venugopal MD (@raghu_venugopal) reported

TELUS manages my patient's WSIB submissions. This is a public service. "TELUS revenue for the quarter ending June 30, 2022 was $3.424B, a 2.36% increase year-over-year." WSIB should be wholly publicly managed.

  • adilally3 Adi Lally (@adilally3) reported

@adaml968 @TELUS Do it cancel Telus join @Shawhelp I had have every regret joining Telus
