@RogersHelps I hope so. I was a very happy loyal customer until I tried to upgrade my TV/Internet/Home Phone and smartphone in the last month. Perhaps tell chat reps & first line responders to stop pretending they're retentions and offer the best deals.

@tweetsforteetz @dmac_79 @RogersHelps And almost every rep has discretion. Almost. Meaning if a consumer is a jerk—game over. Be respectful: chances of great service improve. My experience.

@RogersHelps As I suspected, another waste of time although @RogersHelps always tries and is friendly here. Too bad @Rogers has lost its competitive edge

@tweetsforteetz @dmac_79 @RogersHelps Sorry, but the account is in my wife’s different sir name. And I don’t typically pull up my job in my customer service intersections. I’ve done enough bad Rogers stories in my career. I also believe in crediting good/great service where I find it.

@dmac_79 @RogersHelps I have generally good fortune with customer service reps everywhere. Polite persistence is sometimes the reason. Or just luck.

Ive been having some crazy latency issues the past week @Rogers assures me everything is good. But every game I have is unplayable due to unreasonably high ping. Most videos I watch buffer for minutes at a time, why am I paying for your best internet package. SMFH

@Ani1u7 @Rogers @Bell @TELUS I have a sharing plan that's grandfathered so extra lines are cheap. We never go over 10GB combined but I like the cushion. I always bought phones outright but not last time and now flagships are crazy$. Approx $100/mo w/add ons (voice to text vcmail, etc).

@RogersHelps so I receive a text stating that SHM has fixed my problem with my app, but yeah it still doesn’t work, they leave a live chat link for support and of course no one is working. Been dealing with this December and it’s quite frustrating!!

Still no reply from @RogersHelps after 21 hours. Can’t even suggest that ppl start changing their Rogers password as that may not help here. #cybersecurity

@Rogers, sent a collection ltr via Canada Post for my parents overdue home phone. I NEVER rec'd an invoice! Apparently invoices were changed to online from paper & sent to an unmonitored Rogers email without the POAs concurrence!!!

Because there’s lots of good service @RogersHelps too: I got through to Rogers tech help on phone in 2 minutes. Agents were great. I needed (to pay for) a new PVR. The two reps at the King Street East store were smart, thorough, fast and friendly. One’s also a viewer. Thanks!

1. You'd think given that so many people now must work from home that @rogers would be more accountable for their customer service. Naive, I know. Here's what happened with our account today (one we plan to switch to a new provider first thing tomorrow).

@RogersHelps Yours is a garbage company run by idiots and morons. Those are only words I can use on Twitter. Won't be as nice when I respond to the email I just received from Rogers. Rogers is a company operated by complete idiots and imbeciles. You have finally crossed a lime and I'm gone.

5. We're lucky enough that we can absorb a day of my husband not working due to @Rogers incompetence. But there are many who would face greater financial hardships due to their internet being cut off. I know this won't shock anyone - big telecom service is unconscionable.

@RogersHelps I switched to eSim a month back. However, network quality has deteriorated and I have call drops almost everytime! Please provide support

2. Our @Rogers internet had been spotty recently, and they sent a tech to look into the issue. Tech proceeds to break our internet. Hands my husband a modem, and leaves before we can confirm it actually works. My husband works from home. If I wasn't on mat leave, so would I.

@RogersHelps My neighbour has now pulled the cable taut so it hangs higher. I've had a technician come out at least twice. The last one told me he would escalate the issue and follow up. He gave me his phone number. He has not called and has not answered when I do.

@Rogers I should just cancel my plan, I’m so tired of this. You guys think he’s going to run away with the phone. This is so upsetting, because I work as a contractor for you guys as well.
