  • bigfid25 Keith Fiddler (@bigfid25) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

@drex @TELUS Check that all your cords are plugged in properly, I had this issue 2 weeks ago only to find out one Was unplugged

  • camcavers Cam Cavers (@camcavers) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@YVRHousing We’re going back one day/week next month (I’m contracting at TELUS) and it’ll go up to 2-3 days eventually but that’s a huge change. I turned down a job with this same team in 2019 because they wanted people in the office 5 days/week then.

  • dianesbaker1 Diane S. Baker (@dianesbaker1) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Zpdoodaa Beginning of this thread, “I formed an off shore company….”. Why? As an American I assumed you work in the US. Off shore entities are created for tax avoidance purposes. TELUS is a network provider in western Canada. Have an off shore LLC used to allow a Chinese partner. Booted.

  • jenxrobbins Jen Robbins (@jenxrobbins) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@TELUSsupport @cycnet I got a notification saying the Telus network is temporarily not available

  • EastvanTrev Trevor (@EastvanTrev) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Scam calls are getting out of hand. Over the past couple of days, I've had 5 calls for missing packages from DHL, CRA is sending someone to arrest me three times over and as of 5 minutes ago, my fourth covid emergency and I need to call back ASAP... Hey @TELUS and @Rogers , I bet

  • jimgordontv Jim Gordon (@jimgordontv) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Hey @TELUS about to make my 3rd call in 3 weeks to @TELUSsupport about Optik/PVR problems! #telus

  • ericapomme Erica Young (@ericapomme) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@TylerAnakotta @AlexTheGreatish @nicklmg You should be able to get Telus gigabit fibre, although we’re in kind of the same boat as Nick even with Telus—cuts out a few nights a month, but not with any reliability we can trace potential causes. Overall still good service for the price.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Every week @TELUS calls my phone and asks for my husband and every week I tell them to call his number and every week they apologize and say ok and every week they forget and every week I hang up on them because every week I still don’t want their crappy internet service.

  • PeterMeiszner Peter Meiszner (@PeterMeiszner) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Is @Novusnow down AGAIN for anyone else in Yaletown? Super frustrating- second time in a month. Going to have to seriously consider switching to @TELUS or @Shawhelp - major problem when you’re working from home.

  • camcavers Cam Cavers (@camcavers) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@wanless64 @gregeh I get discounts as a Telus contractor but honestly my ISP is cheaper and faster. 500mbps up/down for $65/month…

  • dharnid Dharni D (@dharnid) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@TELUS your internet plan offers are more expensive on your website than on the phone (customer service) . Why did you even spend money on a website? Could’ve saved than money and passed it on to the customers :)

  • DanMachholz Dan Machholz (@DanMachholz) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

@ngreenizan It’s as bad as watching a World Junior game on zoom and everyone has TELUS and one jerk has Shaw…

  • LuvKimber Kim (@LuvKimber) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

So after another 58 minutes on the phone with @TELUS and 47 of that on hold…I get another technician sent to my House…but I have to wait another 4 days and no Manager from @TELUSsupport even bothered to pick up…is it just me?? Or does this happen to every long term customer???

  • bigfid25 Keith Fiddler (@bigfid25) reported from Maple Ridge, British Columbia

    @drex @TELUS That sucks dude

  • trackwanderer mama bear (@trackwanderer) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

So glad we got DAZN for the singular reason that Telus has too many ridiculous problems.

  • PingRD Ross Derewianko (@PingRD) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

So @TELUS is doing a #purefiber upgrade in my building, they managed to knock @Novusnow down in half the building. When asked the techs stated "Novus must have a down fiber". I investigated and it turned out to be a loose ethernet cable...

  • RitchWorld RitchWorld (@RitchWorld) reported from New Westminster, British Columbia

Had a good talk with .@Shawhelp this weekend. After 20+ years of service, they played the greed game and didn’t want to talk. Called @TELUS and so happy to talk and worked a fabulous deal. father in law is happy as he will be saving $600/ year on home internet, cable and phone.

  • lucasmastelaro Lucas Mastelaro (@lucasmastelaro) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Can you imagine booking an appointment with a customer for an essential service and not showing up? And not calling to reschedule? That’s what @TELUS @TELUSsupport did with me today. #badcustomerservice

  • camcavers Cam Cavers (@camcavers) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Atomos @Cinecraig Or Edmonton. I knew a guy there who was a network engineer at Telus and wore shorts on casual Friday EVERY week of the year, because his new boss once said “at least this shorts nonsense will end in winter” in earshot of the guy.

  • MsYouDoYou BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Every 3-days @telus calls me to ask for my husband and every 3-days I tell them to stop and also that we cancelled our home internet service when they refused to make it work at all so it’s a waste of sales time. Every time they say they made a note. Then are annoyed. Repeat.

Attn @Telus #Telus customers... IF you decide to leave Telus for another company, you will NEVER, EVER, EVER get your remaining balance back! I waited the 6 weeks. The cheque didn't come. I called to expedite it, and was told it would be here this Monday. IT STILL ISN'T HERE.

  • penses_y Penses-y _______ (@penses_y) reported

@fanCRTCProfling Where in this news article does it say that Bell, Rogers and Telus are getting more financial support?

  • MoneyRaisingFoo Allison Barber (@MoneyRaisingFoo) reported

@DrJayDrNo I like my Samsung. Two years no issues. Oh, and my kids got it free with a new Telus account.

  • richard_yyc Richard yyc (@richard_yyc) reported

@fanCRTCProfling Rogers buying Shaw is the worst thing to happen in Canada in the past 20 years. The competition within Canada will now be a joke. I personally hope that everyone drops Rogers and Shaw and moves over to either Bell or Telus. Our family have already moved over to Bell and Telus.

  • cramd cramd: Marc Sherwood (@cramd) reported

@Shawhelp looks like I'm going to pack up my Shaw stuff and send it back to you tomorrow. Somehow I was not just sent the wrong modem, but when the correct one was shipped and I was ready to install my order is cancelled. Your customer care team did not seem to care. @TELUS help!

  • JellyMurray murray (@JellyMurray) reported

@TELUSsupport I’ve lived in Cookstown Ontario for 10 years i’ve always had Telus but for some reason I have no reception at my house now it started last weekend is there a tower down or what’s wrong?

  • ebbsebbs27 Ebbs (@ebbsebbs27) reported

@craigstein14 Sasktel never does that. I’m switching my cell to Telus cause it’s $30 cheaper and Sasktel won’t budge at all

  • Mary_M_Contrary Mary_M_Contrary (@Mary_M_Contrary) reported

@telus TERRIBLE support. We can’t get anything but online self-help.

  • janineallison Janine (@janineallison) reported

@xLiserx I was able to change my settings in my Telus app so that if someone calls, they have to press “1” to proceed. A regular person can do this but a robocaller cannot, and I haven’t had any issues since I set it up.

  • RavT3 Rav Takhar (@RavT3) reported

@TELUSsupport your DNS is so painfully slow these past couple of days with no one in support able to help. To make matters worse the ability to change DNS servers with the latest firmware on the Telus Wifi Hub has been removed.
