Anyone has a stream for the Laval Rocket game? Videotron won't let us connect to the website of rds and the link to change the password is just not working.

@Videotron is so bad. I cant ******* watch the @RocketLaval because of their bad service.
-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, Québec
I switched to @Videotron on June 8th 2021. They offered their high speed internet service, Helix with no installation fees. They gave me 2 options: - Pay for equipment upfront: $388+ tax OR - Pay $12 + tax/month for 24 months. I went with the 2nd option. But guess what?
-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, Québec
@Videotron still charged me upfront $388+ tax with installation fees of $60 even though I chose to pay in $12 for 24 months. When my bill came out on July 9th, I called customer service. They told me it was a mistake and that they would see what they could do. Lol

martin lutteral 🇨🇦 (@mlutteral) reported from Montréal, Québec
@Videotron Major outtage, support line down, and you suggest to "restart your modem" You bunch of pathetic clowns. Who was the idiot who decided to switch to helix? We were good before that ****. I have to move away from this crap

martin lutteral 🇨🇦 (@mlutteral) reported from Montréal, Québec
@Videotron I've been a loyal client for the last 17 years. I don't know who's making the big decisions in your company, but (s)he is a ******* idiot. In the span of about one year you went from the best ISP in town to one of the worst. Time to move.
-
Jaaaaaayyyyy (@zerojay) reported from Montréal, Québec
Videotron internet is down anyways so even if my modem was spared, I'd still be unable to work.
-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, Québec
@sol_da_ @Videotron The audacity they have. + the representatives I spoke to had such bad attitudes. They tried to make it seem like they were doing me a favor or something.
-
Beth W (@bunnyette) reported from Montréal, Québec
@Videotron you bill my elderly mother for unreturned items that were returned in October. Yet I have to go to the store to fix it? I’m in Toronto?

Great. Videotron seems to be unstable. 3rd time losing connection today 🤌
-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, Québec
@Videotron is this the customer experience you want for your clients? So if I don’t have the money to pay $400 that I wasn’t supposed to be charged upfront, then you cut off my service and still leave me with the bill? This is none sense.
-
Richard E Flanagan (@phosfiend) reported from Montréal, Québec
@Videotron internet seems to be down for folks in Hudson/St lazare
-
martin lutteral 🇨🇦 (@mlutteral) reported from Montréal, Québec

@Videotron You don't have a technical support. I've been waiting 45 minutes and nobody pick up. You are pathetic
-
Jaaaaaayyyyy (@zerojay) reported from Montréal, Québec
2am thunderstrike overhead fried my Google wifi, Videotron cable modem, a network switch and possibly my ethernet card on my main PC. Very glad I kept a backup router so I can at least get internal services (Plex) back up.
-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, Québec
@Videotron said this kind of thing happens (often?) & that the only option I have is to accept their “courtesy” of $75 and pay the rest otherwise i will receive late fees and eventually they will cut off my service and come get the equipment but that I would still have to pay.
-
Jaaaaaayyyyy (@zerojay) reported from Montréal, Québec
@Videotron It appears that there is an internet outage here. Are there any known active outages in NDG/CDN?

Kayle Clark (@kaclk) reported
The Competition Bureau’s argument was completely nonsensical (at one point arguing that the sale of Freedom to Videotron was bad because of lack of vertical integration out west … how is that a negative)
-
Michael Osborne (@WMichaelOsborne) reported
@CompBureau Notice of Appeal raises 2 grounds: 1. Tribunal should have analyzed original deal (Rogers buys all of Shaw including Freedom), then considered whether Freedom divestiture to #Videotron resolves competition problems.
-
Michael Osborne (@WMichaelOsborne) reported
The first ground of appeal really comes down to who bears the burden of proof. But cases almost NEVER turn on burden. Here, the Tribunal didn't just find that there was no SLPC; it found that the modified deal (Videotron buys Freedom, Rogers buys Shaw) will increase competition.
-
Michael Osborne (@WMichaelOsborne) reported
Federal Court of Appeal ordered a "stay" of #CompetitionTribunal decision in Rogers-Shaw-Videotron merger on an "interim, temporary, emergency basis". A mere stay would not prevent the deal from closing; what the @CompBureau needs is an injunction.
-
Algis Akstinas (@AlsoKnownAs_AA) reported
@JJ_McCullough Foreign help or homegrown competition, issue is in barrier of entry. Need $5B to enter the market and serve 50% population. After this merger Canada will have 2.85 national wireless networks (Bell+TELUS, Rogers and Videotron+Freedom). Open them up for competition. Go Full #MVNOs.
