  • ANaughtan Amanda Mac Naughtan (@ANaughtan) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps ignite is sketchy again...guildwood area of toronto. Your map says no issues. Ongoing here, always lines strung thru trees instead of underground where they belong! Get your act together guys, we all pay way too freaking much for this crap to happen on a daily basis.

  • na1208 Nestor Alejandro (@na1208) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Not internet service for the whole afternoon/ evening @RogersHelps

  • joe_lafortune Joe LaFortune (@joe_lafortune) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Trying to access from the app on my phone. No issues earlier today. Now unable to access content for an hour.

  • dsincla Daniel Sinclair (@dsincla) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps hello, it appears the internet is down in our area

  • MarkOrlan Mark Orlan (@MarkOrlan) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps I think the HBR article explains it well. Clearly, being proactive with your loyal customers about promos or opportunities to reduce plan fees is not in your best interests. It will eat into your profits. So, after all these years, Rogers continues to deliver customer frustration

  • McCutcheon_C Cara McCutcheon (@McCutcheon_C) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@rogershelps I just heard the most bizarre story about @Rogers refusing to add an @Apple watch for an existing customer because your mailroom lost a @BlackBerry return in 2006. They are cancelling their service (cable/internet/family of 5 cell phones)tomorrow if you can’t fix it.

  • na1208 Nestor Alejandro (@na1208) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps really! Not internet service, what a joke , not internet afternoon + evening yesterday and today morning!!!!!

  • ANaughtan Amanda Mac Naughtan (@ANaughtan) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps ignite tv not working. Either keeps replaying the same 10 secs or cuts out completely. Restarted modem, unplugged box, still not working. We were told it would be much more reliable than cable, we are extremely disappointed. Been happening for a couple months....

  • Renaldo27819502 Renaldo (@Renaldo27819502) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers Dazn is okay for me, who paid those stupid rates is beyond me. YouTube, Disney plus, Netflix does everything cable use to do for me. It's control cable without commercials.

  • sugarbabez Julie (@sugarbabez) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps so I receive a text stating that SHM has fixed my problem with my app, but yeah it still doesn’t work, they leave a live chat link for support and of course no one is working. Been dealing with this December and it’s quite frustrating!!

  • Mobilio47 Ross Mobilio (@Mobilio47) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Beware @bell promotions, this is the fifth time coming back with an offer. Down to 210+ taxes, for the first 5 months then back to 220 not even close to @rogers $169.41+taxes or even Bell’s new client offers, this is comical, certainly not customer friendly

  • GeoffreyWiseman Geoffrey Wiseman (@GeoffreyWiseman) reported from Leslieville, Ontario

@RogersHelps Internet died last night late — around midnight sometime and still isn’t back. Power cycling cable modem didn’t help.

  • Tksampson Tanya sampson (@Tksampson) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps No internet in my home and have rebooted the router twice. Help! M3H1K8

  • i6Hitman Roger Roecken (@i6Hitman) reported from Toronto, Ontario

I hate going over my @Rogers data cap, the unlimited speed is just too slow. It should be a minimum of 1mbps not 512kbps... #brutalloadingspeeds

  • mikefoucault Michel Foucault (@mikefoucault) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps @rogers stop sending your door-to-door sales people to my house at 8pm at night trying to tell me my internet keeps cutting out and to buy yours. Felt bad for the kid because I know he needs the commission, but c’mon these are some sleezy sales tactics. #rogers

  • Murless Murless (@Murless) reported from Mississauga, Ontario

@RogersHelps your service person no showed today in your 2 hiur window. The only knock on the door I heard was from Bell. Thanks for wasting our afternoon. #nocall

  • jaymeemilli jmilly (@jaymeemilli) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers is letting me down AGAIN says I’m fully connected to WiFi however simple videos won’t load.... their website won’t even load. Bell is looking fantastic right now tbh. Over this company and their lousy WiFi

  • gruz1n96 Michael (@gruz1n96) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Anyone else having issues watching the leafs game with @Rogers honestly this is so annoying. Rogers should just give me tickets to games to prevent me being pissed off about the service.

  • MickiRomeo micki romeo (@MickiRomeo) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps so tried of paying more and more for terrible service

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BrendaLWood1970 Brenda (@BrendaLWood1970) reported

@RogersHelps Ok but why do all my neighbours with Bell have service? Sorry to be blunt but this makes no sense to us. The storm affected Rogers but didn’t touch Bell in the same grid? I hope if my use of 5G to compensate will not be charged to my account this month. It’s 5 full days now.

  • TekSavvyCSR TekSavvy Assistance (@TekSavvyCSR) reported

@JFClaudeMSM @RogersHelps We hope the service will be restored soon. There was a lot of damage to the infrastructure. Sorry for the inconvenience. -KF

  • lisaleeebee Lisa Bee (@lisaleeebee) reported

@RogersHelps You really should be doing something. People are going over on data just to be connected to help, or to work, or anything. As I understand it, Bell is offering to waive some data costs. That’s the least you can do.

  • ticwriter83 Marc H. (@ticwriter83) reported

@RogersHelps Disappointed that network equipment upgrades are going on in our neighbourhood for 2 days straight and no one at Rogers knew. This has knocked out our connection multiple times. Would've been nice to have some sort of communication about this work ahead of time.

  • moltenink Moltenink (@moltenink) reported

@RogersHelps I WILL be seeking compensation for the days my service has been unavailable, overages on my mobile data plan and potentially more. This would not be an issue if you would inform your customers appropriately.

  • stackhousej27 James Stackhouse (@stackhousej27) reported

@RogersHelps Merivale is a pretty big outage . I live in Craig Henry . We have power but no internet and cable which is frustrating but I have power . if Power is restored to Merivale , will we have cable . We are in the Craig Henry Knoxdale area . It's great to say working on it

  • JFClaudeMSM J.-F. Claude 🇺🇦 🇨🇦 💉💉💉⚖️ ☮️ (@JFClaudeMSM) reported

Going on 111 hours without home Internet. Power’s been back on for 36 hours. Our provider @TekSavvyCSR is great… fault lies with @RogersHelps infrastructure, who either incompetently can’t, or steadfastly refuse to, provide an estimated time for service restoration. #WFH #K4A

  • tokertee1993 Tonya Kumar (@tokertee1993) reported

@RogersHelps This is getting ridiculous. You better pay for all the data everyone has been using. I understand it was a power outage but we pay big money for your crappy service. Everyone has ask you guys when it will be fixed and a game plan. You guys keep saying thank you for your patience.

  • footiecanada Sean (@footiecanada) reported

@RogersHelps DM provides no info/ETA for resumption of service. I’m not able to work without internet & now thanks to Ignite don’t have cable, which is also tied to wifi. @bell if I switch internet/cable/cel to Bell, can you let me know how long it would be to get set up in K1V area code?

  • dougie_mcclinto 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Are we there yet? 🇨🇦 💉💉💉 (@dougie_mcclinto) reported

@RogersHelps I know you can only pass on the info you are given, but it's the quality of that info that is frustrating. As more areas get power restored (Ottawa) internet access is still not available. Is the delay because of lack of power, damage to physical infrastructure ....?
